seriously tho, use another software pack. Norton is crap. atm Avast! is working nicely, free, and isnt a real screw up. and i suggest looking into firewalls if you're really paranoid, alongside some Spybot S&D pack.

I knew that would get a rise out of you

You have business giving anyone any computer advice. [-X

The guy that seems to think that CrapCleaner is a good way to help get rid of viruses and the like, similarily needs to GTHO. CrapCleaner does just that and nothing else. The crap it refers to is useless cache/temp files that serve to slow down your computer. Nothing else.

well to be fair it also serves well as a registry cleaner if you cant do it manually.

Not really necessary to defend my earlier posts, so I won`t be GTHO, as I stand by them, I only posted whatfre e packages worked for me.
Had a couple of very nasty trojans that took a considerable amount of effort to remove.Thats why I now avoid Facebook and Myspace.
The info on how to get rid of them is available on the net.

I kinda lost interest when RDA said he was lazy, but thinking about it ain`t we all in some way?

So mate how did you finally overcome your problems?

Your feedback might help others.
