i know the AN died some time ago. i just hope that a revitilization (sp?) like this will do us good and hopefully not keep us targets of revenge for old players mistakes.

i would love to chat with any of you on our new forum.

also, the era of a single race alliance is over. we are accepting all races, (since its impossible to control nowadays since we are techinically no longer sgw) i for one am the sacrificial lamb.

anyway, i thought someone deleted this post so i had no idea where to look until i searched for it. that why i didnt post until now. lol

The AO was great in its day, full of friendly people that helped it members learn the game and develop their accounts and would protect its members by all means. Though in time to come it made some changes for the worse. Once Lord Balor left and the AOE was created things started to change. When the army size and TP requirements started to kick in the old AO was dying. The alliance went from over 100 members down to a mere 30 or so, and the requirements for both alliances continued to rise every few weeks. Things turned into a regime with requirements for army size, unit production, total power, and tax scheme. The alliance was dragged into war a number of times by bad management by the council. This resulting on one occasion with everyone in the alliance being completely massed without warning, apparently of which the council knew was looming. I recall one leader who had a conflict with a member on the forum and ended up taking it out on him in game. That conflicted near ripped the alliance in half before the person in question finally stood down and left the alliance... Only to return and re-assume his position a short time later. The old AO was well and truly dead and the AN emerged. Shortly afterwards I went my separate way. The undoing of the AN was really that of the old AO, it changed from its original morals and reason the alliance was created in the first place. The result was an internal collapse, of which drove most the the old AO members away. I guess the AN must have been doing alright to last this long.

I think a fresh start is exactly what was needed. I wish the AP well in its endeavors and hope that it can keep to its roots. You finally got the top job ictok16.

yeah. been there not since the beginning, but through the thick and thin. and even though i took a small break right in the middle because i was sick of the BS. i was still involved in the alliance diplomatically.

but during that damn break i also formed my own alliance for a time and was unfortunately massed by good friends due to a backstabbing and manipulative a-hole of an officer.

but things worked out. and ive been active on the forum being both a diplomat, the second in command of the AO, and now its leader. i hope i can do whats right and with our new chance and not screw things up.

our taxes have fueled in my opinion one of the most effective growth programs of any alliance, the 100mil army size program. and now followed up by our 200mil army size program.

our alliance is growing quickly and strongly, and i hope we can start making a deeper impact among the growing game and hopefully pick up some hopeful new people to help them along their way to becoming a new top player.

the AP stands for righteousness and we will not settle for anything less. we honor ourselves by being prideful, respectful, and most of all, protective of ourselves and our allies. we are a new breed of alliance and i hope it will only be a short time before i, and we can prove it to the rest of the community.
