I like the idea of MS ramming, tbh... that'd be cool...
It would need some safeguards in place to avoid too much exploitation, but it's a rocking good idea.

I like the idea, but have it the same as planet defences. It has to be of a certain size to successfully damage the mothership. Like fleets against a planets defence, gets completely 0'd if it doesnt meet a certain %.
So that way the rammer would have to atleast have a decent size or risk losing his mothership and causing 0 damage.

I doubt this would help, at least as far as i can see.
Would just allow the large MS, unless they got jumped by an entire alliance, to effectively put out-of-commission any average MS, since they could effectively sit on them, disabling them for a period of time (instead of the owner just waiting for the right time to re-buy weapons)
Well I would assume 2 things,
1. it would/could disable BOTH ships
2. a single ship could only disable a single ship per day.
other wise you just have 1 big alliance MS rammer floating around LOL

So more of a Ship4Ship style? If they have a specified minimum power?

Well, players with big MS will be able to mass other MS even easier. It still favorites big MSs more than smaller users.

And so it should favor the big motherships, otherwise whats the point in having a big one. If they were easy to take down, motherships would become pointless.
