I hope everyone else soon comes and writes their little chapter of the game in a new thread in general.
yes maybe i am in a foul mood

That's you're opinion, but the next time you post a thread where you inform people about something then think about what you just said.
This was the best way to answer people that keep asking me the same question, so yes, some people did want to know.
Is it egotistical? maybe. Do I give a crap? No.
It's not RolePlay.
It's not Character History.
I'm answering the question I get the most atm.
But sure, feel free to whine about it, it's ineviatble.
Oh and speaking of egotistical and laughable......
viewtopic.php?f=101&t=150604Oh look at me, look at me, look what i did..... oh the guy got upset, can everyone else give him his resources back so i can feel better.... oh look at me!
Point.

@ Clarkey, the reason so many people asked you why is because you were a respectable player that most expected better of.
You built a stonking great account and achieved all accounting building goals over the years and your work tracking Multi's and scammers was a great public service.
BUT
If you wanted a challenge to keep the game interesting you would have kept up your Torchwood alliance, or joined another up and coming alliance, build and train them from scratch, and fight against the odds
INSTEAD
You have joined forces with the alliance/empire that has the highest % of the most powerful accounts in the game, a place where you will mass lesser accounts, follow orders and will probably never have to face accounts equal or greater than your own.
This has moved you from the impartial overseer to place where your words will have to tow the party line, it has undoubtedly damaged your rep in the eyes of most, and will mean your words once trusted will now be doubted. Sorry this effect has been such a surprise to you, to me it seemed an obvious consequence to your decision. I hope you enjoy your new challenge to keep things interesting, though I really dont what the 'challenge' part is

It's a good job that an integral part of the DDE/FUALL ethos is not giving a crap what other people think.

So now i'm not a respectable player? Again another example of tarnishing people with the same stick. I AM STILL ME.

No.
I have created my own alliances in the past. SAS Elite, Torchwood, and they always flopped. Most always turned out inactive, or ran as soon as there was trouble. I clearly was not able to run an alliance myself because it seemed very difficult to keep members interested in the game and keep them active. I sometimes gave resources to smaller members only for them to decide to join someone else's alliance. I got tired of trying to create and alliance and generate activity within it. Yes Torchwood may have looked like it was doing well with the numbers in it, but hardly anyone did anything.

I'm currently fighting BAU. The highest target in that has 370m+ army, ok it's 71m below mine and they aren't ascended as much, but how many are there at plague levels on my ascension? I've recently been in battle with some pretty big accounts. Do you expect me to only fight those over 400m army?

Hmm my reputation surrounds mainly catching cheats. How will my reputation be damaged because i joined TDD?
You may doubt my words now by why do you speak for the community? You assume people will now doubt me because of my personal choice? I AM STILL ME!

I do, to a certain degree, care what people think. But as I have said many times, me joining TDD has not changed me. Therefore if before I DID give a crap what people thought, then I still DO give a crap what people think, because I have not changed.

Well, good luck with that attitude.
An unfortunate fact of the game, and perhaps life in general, is that there are some people who will automatically label you due to certain facts about you. There are people in this game who hate FUALL with such a passion that they will automatically dislike you regardless of whether you've even spoken. When I joined Omega, I drifted apart from at least three people whom I'd considered friends simply because of the tag next to my name. Dogmatic assumption, for the win.

1. I felt like it
2. WHY NOT!!!
3. REK is GOD!!!!
@ Mezz...do i sense a bit of jealousy because he didnt join FS? Its your Humble opinion that TDD, DDE and FUALL are not "Respectful" or have "bad reps" well i say that is simply your OPINION
anyway Clarkey welcome and happy hunting

Hit the nail on the head there.
One day i'm respected.
I decide to join TDD
Next day i'm not respected.
lol tis a joke.
Anyone that's changed their view of me since i made my decision clearly didn't respect me in the first place or think i was a friend.
@Mezz, how have i changed as a person? Or is it the tag that is the issue?

It's completely ridiculous to blow up over Clarkey joining TDD.

I dont get why anyone would loose respect over someone who joined DDE or Omega. What have they ever done

@ Universe, not blowing up over anything, Clarkey started this thread because so many asked him 'why' and he felt a need to explain or justify his discussion. If he didnt care what people thought, want questions asked and answered, why start the thread ?
@ DP, no jealousy, I think I did invite Clarkey to FS over a year ago but no hard feelings there. And NO I dont think all FUALL are 'not respectable', this is a point where I am frequently mis-understood, most I dont know, many I like and/or respect but some are DIRTY. Clarkey's name was 100% clean and joining some not so clean taints him.
@ Clarkey, army size helps but it isn't everything, I see your problem about most accounts being lesser to your own, but you have chosen the easy option, not the challenging option.
No I dont claim to speak for the whole community, but I do speak for many who do not post themselves due to the fact posting anything negative about DDE would get them massed
As for reputation, your rep IS ( sorry for the previous use of past tense ) not just about the multi/scammer you caught, thats probably what your best known for but you are also known to be a respectful decent guy. Which again is why so many were surprised by your choice of alliance given their policies do not seem to fit you previous persona. You say 'I AM STILL ME' but will you stand up if you disagree with DDE orders, or will you do as your told like a good little soldier and just another cog in the machine ? Time will tell

Its not the alliance your in, or you join that gives or takes away your respect. its the actions you do on a daily bases. Clarkey is, has been and more then likely will be respected by me, and many like me. So stop judging him for joining the DDE TDD or any other alliance. Judge him for his actions.
And future more its really no one business why he does anything. "Sept Rek's

GL and have fun in TDD Clarkey... although the news caught me offguard and to be honest, quite surprised me since some of the people you now banded together with have had a (slight or worse) smell in the past *takes a slight look*
*wanted to challenge Clarkey but thinks better of it now he has received his spy report* Hmmm... friendly one on one challenge will come later on maybe...
