Still, I've had once so far that 3 hours after I lost the planet I attempted to reclaim it (was in a alliance war), but the one who took it and still held it had gone on PPT and I got the $#* 'Knocking on the door'-bug....

You should seriously consider investing heavy in one planet and keep it under merlin/ppt. Then the rest of your planets should be crappy planets with a similar bonus.

Take UP for example...
Say your raw UP is 100k/day and want to make it 300k total.

You can either build 10 planets at 20k UP each or you can build one UP planet to 200k and find 3 crappy planets to use the full bonus. This way you don't lose your investment. If someone takes one of your crappy planets, you can always steal another one... and you will still keep your bonus as long as your good planet is safe.

Did the person who stole it ascend? Not sure if ascending still kills logs, I assume it does, might kill the button too.

12.

actually, you cant do it that way...

in order to have an effective bonus of 200k from a single UP planet, you will need a raw up of 400k, as UP/def/attack/covert planets only give a max of 50% of raw power in that stat... (this was implemented back in the day when some people massed huge defenses purely with planets, having single-weapon strikes powered up by 10 planets with huge bonus...)

It's an old bug... it works. There's tons of threads/posts about this and I read somewhere that admin has no intention of changing this. The way the formula to calculate this is set up... it takes the average of your planets total bonus and evenly distributes it across all planets.

Here's one thread about the bug...

If you have a 100b strike planet, the way the update reads... you'd need a 200b strike to get the full benefit. In reality, you can find a 1m strike planet, build a 100b strike and your 100b strike planet bonus will "distribute" any excess bonus not being used to other planets. Find a third crap strike planet and you'd only need 66b strike to gain the full 100b bonus from that planet.

this bug still works. to an advantage. you only need to have 2 good planets to have a great bonus

Its an old bug Z, one admin knows about and never bothered to fix. He has been told repeatedly about it.

For it to be a "bug" it should not have been intended. This is no bug, but in the words of Jason "an unadvertised feature".

Guess he needs to tell people that publicly, instead of telling just a select few. Its a rather foolish "Unadvertised Feature", but its his game. Makes me wonder why he put the 50% limit in if he planned to legally allow you to bypass it?

Back on topic, I hope he does fix the bug this topic is about.
