some of the reasons on that list made me lol. You make the mistake of giving $$ spenders who buy awesome accounts to make themselves good.. the title of a 'good player' or the best fighter..when I assure you had they spent no $$ like the rest of us... they'd be nothing special at all.

It's a rookie mistake... and ya hate to see it. You do....

What makes you think that spending $ and being a good fighter are mutually exclusive?

i dont mean to sound narky but can this thread pleeeeeease not trun into another $$ no $$ argument. its my thread. i dont personally use $$ as i feel you get a beter sense of achievement without it. that said, people who use $$ is their playing style. if say odji went and spent loads of $$ im sure he will stll be a skilled player.

so can the $$ argument stay outta here. its not relevant.

I don't think. I know.

Because you buy the top notch account to get a massive advantage over others and you then build up any margin of skill with that advantage that you've gained by cheating. The $$ reduce the need for concern of losses and naq and it will greatly effect your playing style without you having to have built and worked your way up.

It's not a difficult thing to grasp. These oh so great fighters are only so great because they have their massive advantages that they've bought. Strip any of them of those $$ bought advantages, put them in the same account and put them up against Buck for example.. and they'd have their assess handed to them every time without a shadow of a doubt.

It's just get newbies coming a long who see JT and Qacol running around with these massive $$ bought MS's and duel planets and they get their assess handed to them and think.. "wow! They're a great player"... when in actual fact. It's very likely simply not so.

well should there be enough omissions to get him on time will tell. now i dont rate myself highly at all but i know a good fight and a good sport. i wil certainly be giving feedback as to who of these characters truly are good fighters and good sports and who are not

once i get a fair amount of confirmations from those i named as my starting line up i will put them into a hat (or other device) and will have an order, i will name a start date when ready.

the rules will be open to some negotiation, i will release the opponent a month in advance,(so 2 opponents) and we can neg b4 the beggining

rules will be

- i WILL request a personal nap with your alliance empire for the week of our vendetta
- minimum rebuild def (negable size)
-minimum 1 full size MS build
- tries to organise 1 onliner at least (may be hard with schedules i understand)
- posts in this thread for war
-no officers/CO
- no alliance
- no planets
- no ascended

(There is a possibility that for some of these, i may be able to get a friend and have 2v2's if one would like to organise that they would have to speak to me)

- basically i just want me v you in mains army v army MS v MS and a great time and experience. this is also an epic learning curve for me so i would ask all opponents give advice to me throgh the wars we have on how to better my style. by the end i hope to be a recognisible war machine with skills that are paralleled only by few. hope it all works

I beg to differ. I have fought against Q. when his MS was decent but not nearly close to the biggest MS at that time. Having an online battle with him was a pleasure and he did stand his ground against an opponent with a bigger MS.

I have never fought against JT, but I have heard that the same applies to him.

So no Semper, you do not know but pressume. And as often you are wrong with your assumption
