one mistake regarding my playing would of been leaving Gigs as a CO

but a positive ending came from it. I got LX as a new CO

Where to start


Thinking on it, ingame I've done most of the 'normal' type mistakes. Missed a ppt, lost built ms's, lost naq & uu when i've been careless. Trusted people/alliances I shouldn't have & not had confidance/trust in those I should have. Sometimes those types of things are the only way you learn differently though, so I don't regret those.

There are quite a number of interesting & wonderful people I've lost touch with over the time I've been playing thuogh, by one reason or another. Perhaps my biggest mistake was allowing it to happen.

mAnd Missed ppts etc. are hardly interesting in the grand scheme of things.

Everybody gets one of those sooner or later. It`s also nothing to look back and go "man I really regret that"... most of the stuff people cite here arent really big **Filtered** material or trully regretable stuff to be looked back on with sentimentality.

Have I done everything in the optimal manner? Heck no lol. Do I sit here thinking and wishing how I sould have acted insetead? Even less.

I think you should listen to E.P. more and simply ask for your job back. ITs not even about you taking it as a game or not. Its about how you approach these things as a person. You gonna wallow in selfpity threads like this or are you gonna climb off of the fence on either "move on" or "fix" side?

This isn't intended as a self-pity thread. I've been reflecting over my time here whilst writing a character history, and it made me curious as to what other people consider to be mistakes they've made. I think it makes a nice change from all of the 'lols lets all list our planets and rank them lolz' garbage which clutters up general.

My biggest mistake was in when i first started to play this game. I finally got a 20 mil army with 10 mil or even more trains as coverts. Guess what happend they got massed for no reason other than having a way to small defence.

trusting certain people.

I've got far too much material to work with here.

1. Missed PPT's, losing 40mill spies, lots of naq etc blah blah, no worries here really. can all be gotten back easily.

2. unascended my account accidently despite the large print saying this option will unascend you.

3. ascend with just about everything still on my account, didnt broker away.

4. continuosly mass someone's tiny defence for about 2 hours. I think that might have been papa~smurf in the NEO FS war.

5. allow EPA to drop after Kojak, Rocky etc left. I wasn't really in command then but I still feel responsible.

6. massing randomly when i was in Reborn and had a 10 mill army size.

there's definitely more, just can't remember right now.

they're mostly ingame mistakes which can be recovered easily therefore I can say I'm gratefull for that. Mistakes which involve resources etc don't really annoy me for longer than about 2 minutes.

Dropping out of TSA without warning. Everything else is a bunch of numbers that in the end, don't matter to me.

And yes, I know they weren't the biggest, or the strongest, alliance. But they had pride, heart, and (most importantly) fun. Miss the heydays, but I don't see going back as an option; time constraints keep me off this forum for the most part.

Selling my old SGW account for a couple hundred bucks and blowing it in one weekend of drinking. Wish I still had it now lol

I'd say waiting so long to get on the forums is my second regret as I could've had so much more fun XD

u must be really a noob if u regret that someone hates u , someone who u don't give 2 cent in RL and the only thing u have in comun with him is this game
or that u lost some virtual naq or who knows what else in this game
i expect more from u mordack

Starting Ascending to late.. Still ascending and I am only Lg + 4
