I would honestly choose the game if she would say: The game or me. Because ultimatums are NEVER the answer and if it comes to an ultimatum here, be sure that it won't stop at a trivial game (blasphemy, I know) such as SGW.

It's not easy letting go from a woman, that I know from experience, but I doubt that a person trying to control your life is who you'd like to spend the rest of your life with.

Oh the other hand, it's as Semps said, it all depends on the circumstances. So it's not easy to answer this one, is it?

Just say one of my favorite lines from the movie Step Brothers:

"Are you **Filtered** high?!?!?!"

Be a man. Say no. If thats the case tell her to stop doing something she loves to do.

Considering that I have no problem putting the game down just for any form of social event, it is highly likely that I would take the excuse to quit the game. Fortunately for us all its not a situation I am in at the moment

As has been previously stated, it does depend on the circumstances, Revangel. Obviously if your game playing is impacting on time you should be spending with her, then there is something in the request or potential upcoming request. If it's time that's yours (and I will assume that you don't spend 24/7 with her) then tell her to respect your choices of what you do with your time. After all during the time she's away from you, you aren't saying to not spend x-zillion hours painting her nails are you?

The other thing to consider of course is if it's time that you should be studying. In that case her request so long as she lets you study is genuine.

Otherwise like most things in life it's a balance.

Qacol raises a good point... It starts with your games.. and then it moves onto other things like mentioned... next thing you know your so whipped its beyond a joke and you personally will not realize it... but your friends and family will

As for me, i play this game in secret so hopefully this situation wont arise! my gf has only seen me on it twice when i had to get my PPT naq banked lols but yeah.. i would cut down easily, but yeah if it was given as a ultimatum it would make me choose the game only on principle. Would quit under other circumstances though... all depends.

On a rethink... yeah i would quit..

Yep.

If I knew that I was spending far to much time doing a hobby, And was asked like this I would quit.

But I have been in relationships were anything you do without them is wrong, Man you do not want to go there XD
