This thread is for discussion regarding rules and laws of the SL not for discussion between races or whatever, yes it is spam.

I doubt there is any rule regarding the ascended race. Most choose the TOLAH as they are warriors or the ORI for they are evil.
About in-game technology:
The original Goa'uld / SL technology is the Naquadah Based / Enhanced Naquadah Based technology with the Slave and Controle / Enslave and Dominate Race Social Structure.
However, we Goa'uld & System Lords adapt worthy technology from other races and give them to our followers. So other technologies would be ok too I guess.
