sorry for my late post, as i have been at work all day long and didnt get a chance to see this until now.
Odin, good friend and former ally, i fully accept a challenge put forth by you and your army. However, we all know that your terms and conditions are a bit rediculous. people that know the both of us fully know that neither will would give up in a war. with this being one of your "terms", it would seem as though you would never be getting a spot on this council.
as a member of the System Lord Council, i follow under a rule of 9, as do all members. therefore, your terms can not just be accepted by me but have to be accepted by the council.
if you want to try your skills and aim for a seat on the System Lord Council, i will deliberate with the other 8 members to come up with more proper terms fair to both parties.
Semper wrote:perhaps... a straight battle. No nox, no critical. Man to man, equal stats. first to 0 the other wins.
something more along these lines might be the way to go old friend.
.....and could the title of this possibly be changed to I challenge Lord Baal or something along those lines, i planned on posting my character Profile and i kinda wanted this title as it would fit LOL

ENOUGH OF THIS INSULINCE!!!
The terms will be lain down by the supreme, and a TAURI showing up here displayingsupport for one who would challenge for a seat makes me wonder who art thou really?

I think that by your rules you will never get a chance on the Council as you will never win.
You may or may not be the better warrior but Lord Baal will never step down on his own free will even if he is beaten black and blue
I suggest that the SLC put forward a plan or rules to state what is an "acceptable" challenge, although it has to be reasonable as SL's can come out of everywhere and start to challenge every week, which I guess is not conducive to the SLC
In the SG1series, system lords battled for domains/supremacy and normally the loser would have his domains taken and then would serve the winner.
I think one of the rules should be:
If Lord Odin wins, he takes his place on the SLC. He cannot be challenged for 6 months by anyone unless the SLC deem it.
If Lord Odin looses, he serves Lord Baal as an underlord for 6 months and cannot challenge again in that period for 6 months and must be AN other member of the SLC
If Lord Baal looses, he steps down as does his queen. He will not be able to challenge for 6 months and cannot be against the same Lord.
Again, these are just my thoughts basing them against how System lords operate in canon and do not represent any SLC thoughts.
Whatever the outcome, I will monitor the war with great interest.

Good except for the 6 month wait..thats a very long time. I'd say a month or a number of weeks would be provide a better solution.

Okay all, sorry its taken me a while to reply im chillin at a mates for a bit.
1) Jedi A Tauri supports me as he is an emeny chained in my prisons....this is proof that a master system lord like myself can make even a tauri back my word (not that my name needs backing by anyone).
2) Okay...im willing to cange a few of my rules...but seeming im the challanging System Lord i see no full reason as to why i must follow the Councils 100% idea for rules on such a battle. If you think about it in the TV show a system lord would just need to knock another council member off...not ask for the councils rules on such a battle....A true system lord would just take it in battle...but seeming i doubt you will allow that im willing to chat.
3) the re-challange idea put foward sounds like a good idea...6 months seems a little long and 1 month seems a little short...maybe 3?.
4)I draw to the attention of the public the post made by the supreme system lord which the topic was called "The SGW System Lords" it states the following...
[spoiler]4th Generation System Lord High Council - The Die Hards. (Jan 2007 - Jan 2008)

I am listed as a System Lord on said list before either ~Jedi Tank~ and Harc...And i know that this new council was not voted upon, more picked by some members of the council....how do i know this? well the SSL told me himself....so i dare say that any System Lord should have the right to challange the council ^_^
5) i shall chane the name of the topic just for u Baal :p
(p.s i may not reply for another 24 hours as the net at my mates is dodge to say the least.)

Joma Secu is a Jaffa term for Challenge of Leadership, trial by combat but unsure if it would apply to Goauld?

Baal mate....you can accept or not...
As far as im concered....this council so far is well...more ego filled then anything lmao and not in the typical System Lord fasion.
So accept or not meh....i will continue on warring and causing havoc where ever i go like a true System Lord

Odin, Old friend, the council does not agree that it is the right time to be having such a conflict.
if you still wish to battle, let me know and im sure arrangements can be and i will be happy to send some Jaffa to their death for their God. however, win or lose, it appears as though it will not grant you access to this council at this time. you can message me ingame if you would like to discuss this further, if not, continue to conquer your way through the Galaxy, and maybe your seat among the Council will be here for you when you lease expect it

Old friend? If you still wish too? These are not the words of a strong and steady God, your pitiful benevolence shames the council like an awful stain of weakness.
It's simple enough for you now... fight him and reclaim your respect with the rest of us, or leave now like the Shol'va you are.... this continuous barrage of negotiations annoy me.

IM NO COWARD. i accepted his challenge multiple times! the council has been at a stand still on this matter, and every time i ask someone they say, dont worry bout it, we dont want stuff like this going on right now!
"Old Friend" is a common term for former allies now turned enemies to say to one another. and "if you wish to" was referring to if he still cared to test his might against my army then my jaffa would be waiting. sorry that my terminology isnt up to par as some others. Language arts was never my strong suit in school. NEITHER were weak statements.
