Great find muff. Been a while since I've found a raid hit, but I don't really care so much for UU. Farming is all about being persistent... even if you're having a crappy day.
To be honest, nowadays... 100m UU isn't much. I could increase my army size by 100m within a week if I truly wanted to. The hardest part would be getting the necessary ATs to do so.

Re: Good ending to a bad farming day
That's like me on Wednesday...
I was running out of ATs. An alliance mate brokered me 1k ATs for 550b naq, which is more than I usually pay for them. I told him that if I got a 500b naq hit, I'd buy them. Minutes later, I get a 1.2T naq hit and my alliance mate got 550b naq. Needless to say I more than made back my 550b naq by the end of the next turn.

Re: Good ending to a bad farming day
I always have to laugh about threads on farming. Every time I post how much I farm, I get asked for my farm list or for some tips. I'm sure that Bebita and Deni get asked the same thing all the time. People think there's some kind of magic way to get loads of naq so they don't have to spend the time. I only have 5-7 pages of war declarations and more often than not, many of those are already farmed by the time I get to them. I probably waste 100-200 ATs out of every 1k ATs on missed naq hits. It's all about putting in the time and having patience. It eventually pays off, like muff proved in this thread.

Can I have your farm list?
Doh the farm list is on the attack list in the ingame menu, there's like 71,743 farms on that list.
hehe, seriously tho, a lot of it (unless you're in a specific war) comes down to patience as max said, and luck. i've been lucky numerous times to catch a nice hit before anyone else does, sometimes i hit and get nothing cause someone else caught it at the same time. Sometimes i've logged on and i got farmed like 2 minutes before I logged on.
It's just a lot of luck, the more you play the greater that luck.
