I think you need to learn the bigger picture of plague.

As far as I know the plague death rate begins at 25,000 when you reach plague. That's 25,000 per turn. This means you are losing 1.2m army per day, and that's random from strike, defence, covert/ac, miners, lifers etc. Now having a raw UP will only get you 1.1m total unless you have officers and/or planets.

However, if you have a higher total UP than what you lose due to the plague then the death rate continues to increase as your army increases.

Now put it this way. If you were well in to the plague region, i.e. over 500m for example. And you have like 15m maybe 20m army in massable units, ie defence, covert even ac, and then you get massed big time, then you lose those, plus you are still in plague region losing army per turn.

It is much much more harder to rebuild when in plague if you are massed.

However having pointed out that a 1t MS offensive with 10 tech lvls is cheaper than a 1m raw UP, that would obviously not include any shields.

Ok put it this way.

Person A has 400m army. 2m total UP

Person B has 500m army. 2m total UP

Person A gets massed and loses 20m army, they stand at 380m army gaining 2m per day from UP. Takes 10 days to recover the lost uu.

Person B gets massed and loses 20m army, they stand at 480m army (in plague) they have 2m total UP but are losing at least 1.2m per day. Therefore gaining 800k per day. Takes 25 days to recover the lost uu not to mention the plague continuing to rise.

In the additional 15 days it takes Person B to recover then Person A would have gained an extra 30m from the UP.

Raise your UP to 1mill then sell UU to keep you below the plague limit for extra income.
1mill UU is going for 400-500bil naq. I could buy a lot of stuff with 1tril coming in every other day

This is what i would if i was you and not planning on wars.

1. Ascend to either LG+1 or AG gives you some AB when looking for those big naq hits it helps with losses if yo hit the ab.

2. after that Build your UP to 1 mill (Total) ~ Sell the UU for Naq for MS

3. build you Stike planet/ or buy one. and build your MS while farming and selling UU

4. raise you covert and anti covert levels to a decent level fitst but increase as time goes on.

Thanks guys I think I know what I am going to do. I will build a 250bil strike planet I have enough naq for this and continue with ascensions and building my MS at the same time through farming. Does this sound like a good idea?

lol whatever u do u need to farm farm farm so start doing it , u need to have a good farm list and also watch for big hits. on the way u ll get to know with many faces of the game and u ll pick the one u fit in.

Only n00bs worry about UP and army size. Why pump all that naq into UP when you can raid more than any UP you could possibly have in a mere minute. What does a 500m army size mean to me? You'll make a great frickin' farm for me and I'll love to mass your defense and turn farm you once my ascensions are done. The market is FLOODED with UU and it's only getting worse. Why would you invest in something that keeps going down in price? It's basic economics. The larger the supply, the less the demand... thus reducing prices.

Take it from someone who's MS went from 398b to over 1.2T within a few months... ascend and build your MS. It's the only way to go in this age of the game.

My suggestion to you is this... build and protect 1 awesome attack planet or better yet, an attack dual. Surround it with lesser attack planets. Use that attack planet to farm your butt off. Use the naq to gather resources for each ascension. Be sure that before you ascend, you have all the naq required to build the raw UP of the following ascension. Any excess naq, use to build your MS. It's a vicious and monotonous cycle, but the vast improvements in your account will be apparent. Think of your MS as a huge att/def dual planet. Granted, it can be massed and it can be negated, but at the same time... if your MS is large enough, you can negate any additional attack bonus someone with a 1T volley power MS has.

Farm, farm, farm... and when you're tired, keep farming until you pass out. It's the only way to keep up with the people using $$$.

Yeah cheers guys. I have done away with the UP idea. I am ascending and farming with a nice ATT planet. Now I just have to build a nice MS aswell.
