this thread is wrong actually.
the game went live Febuary First, not January 30th.
what this is, is my 5 year anniversary of signing up for the game, since i was invited before the game went live.

4 years and 3 months since my alta ego Lord Mezzanine was born
And to answer the critics there have been many changes in that time, the birth of ascensions, creation of MSs, creation of raiding, start of ME, and other goodies, of course there have also been bad updates like planets, MS Techs, Platforms etc. I think it's probably the dissatisfaction of the game community with these later bad updates that has put Jason off making more, in the early days SGWs was his baby and he did what he wanted with it, more recently we have all claimed a stake in it due to the time we spent playing, and the majority vision of how the game should evolve seems to differ from his.
I still live in hope that Jason is working on a major revamp in the background that considers the communities opinions, maybe thats just wishful thinking, we shall see

Yup. 5 years.
Now does anyone know the EXACT date that the Tauri Ålliance was created? I know it was within a week of the game going live, but it was never written down and none of us can remember...

i've been here about 4 and a half years, and i have to say, even from that time, the game has changed alot. there are so many things people take for granted.
