DoC is yes good at war but they are also fighting 1v10 which may seem epic but in reality seems lousy to me because then theres no sportsmanship for it. When DoC doesnt see a defense to mass its "dont be weak build up" but when an opponent asks the same thing its "o we are in war with 10 alliances better luck next time" it seems more like using that as an excuse.

However i will say that some of the members are very active publicly "for instance you yourself Roket are on often and can be fun to talk to appear in RP sections etc. etc.) but alot of it is just the war section (fair enough your a war empire) but not as well rounded and impressive as the legacy nemesis leaves behind this year.

Thats a lie, my deffense is ALWAYS built as i am ascending, and many others, look at DoC before you say that, look at our ranks compared to Nemesis, and yes i agree our members aren't as active on the fourms but then again i don't i only really see Q post on here, and i post more then he does lol

and Mezz i'm not, i don't show respect and have fun?

i would say the best is exactly that, the one that owuld win!

The awards are for 2009, not for current state of alliances. NS are taking some down time.

i didnt lie. i didnt say you didnt have defenses i said that that is in fact what you guys say as i have read it here on the forums. and keep in mind its ALLIANCE OF THE YEAR not WAR ALLIANCE OF THE YEA Nemesis does alot of extra and again awesome community of people.

Might i suggest if he fails to understand why so many people in the OE empire are voteing for nemesis, We get the gang back together for the weekend, and show him what he's missed out on? Im quite sure you'd see a change in attitude, we changed everyone elses who we faught...

Exactly, so why ROKET do you already presume that your alliance will fail? I mean hell the voting only just started.

Why? They fought Tauri Alliance Massers with Qacol (TAM became Rico's), Mayhem, Forgotten Serenity and Owned alliance and they fought them all to a stand still.

During their last year they had a membership consisting of Buck, Madcat, Mordack, Hellfire, Heaven Seeker, Semper, Satan's Bull, Mystake, Radiance, FieldMarshall, Law7441, Rocky, Tek, Tyber Zann, The Iron Duke, DarkDayz, Earendil, [BERSERKER], Meth and many more great names. They role play as sith and they stuck to that RP.

And this.. this is the abridged version.

That's why, son.

NS has only been around for a short time... but it was this year they were around...and they stood up and got counted.

@Tekki... very little, and I mean.. very very very little inspiration was taken from FUALL alliances or older empires. I can think of one thing that I implemented when I was leader and creator.

@ Buck... it would be like a beetles comeback buddy!

This clearly suggests you think Nemesis beat DoC.

Let's put it this way, if you weren't in DoC you wouldn't be asking this. This is evidenced by the fact you are not saying how does Nemesis beat Ricos?

Alliances consist of many different aspects.

Since I've fought both alliances, I'll say nemesis is better and when nemesis was at full strength it wasn't even close. Whats this for again?

RoKet the awards are a popularity contest, always have been and always will be.

I am not saying Nemesis do not deserve their status, i am merely saying these awards are much like the Oscars, subjective and heavily influenced by lobbying
