I usually start with active topics... as Jim said, the button of god...
sometimes I go quite deep into the many pages of active topics...
then I click view your posts when I am referencing, looking to edit,
replying / checking in on my own posts/topics, or topics I take a special interest in... (hence having posted there before.)
I do use search for historical / reference purposes...
I find a fair amount of links to the Main Forums
on my alliance's forums,
