The guy who plays apophis whos name escapes me all the time, Actually wasnt due to appear at the convention i went, He flew over with his OWN money to meet the fans.

Peter Williams is the actor and I to met him at a convention and he was such a great guy. He spent time to have a talk with me about the other system lords in the series. Also "Ronan" and "Sheppard" where a great double act.
I took my daughter to the CHEVRON 7.2 stargate convention in Bedford, UK (not the las vegas of the UK
)
Guests there was Joe Milligan (Sheppard), Jason Momoa (Ronan), Peter Williams (Apophis), Alexis Cruz (Skara/Klorel) and Colin Cunnighman (Major Davis)
We where there Sat and Sunday and was our first time at a convention. My daughter likes Sheppard, so when I heard he was going to be there then I thought we must go.
We got all there autographs, my daughter had personilised photos with Ronan and John
They all where great to talk to. I had a conversation with Peter (Apophis) asking him that I reckon if he was not killed off he would of been a force with the other System lords, and he agreed and really wanted to kick Baals arse.
There also was guest talks, which they answered questions from the public. This was sooooooo funny. These guys where so different from the show.
My daughter asked the question to Ronan, "Who would win a fight between you and Teal'c", Which he scoffed and said him, as Teal'c was an old man lol
Also, John and Ronan said they like to wind up Mackay on set. One story, they where driving to a set in the desert. And evidently Mackay has a small red car (we are talking UK size car). Ronan was in his truck.
On this empty stretch of road, Ronan overtook Mackay, and beeped his horn when level, Mackay look out of his window and Ronan had his arse out wiggling it at him. It was eye to eye if you catch my drift lol
There where themed partes like, "First Night on Abydos", and people came dressed up as SG/SGA personel. The was a Tokra, a replicator (well asuran), Aschen and my favourite which made the night a wraith. I took a picture of him and my daughter together. he looked so real, must of spent ages on making his costume. And he was about the right height too for a wraith.
Also, Ronan et al hanged out at the party. Ronan is massive, he stood head and shoulders above every one.
Overall, I was expecting pampered stars who where there for the money, but all of them took time out, even there own time to ensure everyone had a great time and had chance to have a chat.
P.S I reckon I could drink Ronan under the table
p.p.s Buck is not the only geek, oh hang on I went for my daughter not me
