But lest i forgot, the words that man spoke...what was he saying? Is he making a point?
He was making a point yes, and as KitFox and others have pointed out it's a point with some validity. The erosion of national sovereignty and and increased europeanization of indigenous institutions are always things which ordinary citizens should be concerned about.
Oh but I'm concerned about it and am an ordinary citizen, I'm just on the pro EU side, despite admitting EU has some flaws that tend to be annoying (European Human Rights Court or whatever it's called in english language for example I see as a flaw)
Well if you look at the bigger picture, not flaws that want that have no connection to you as a person and are just some theoretical nuisance perhaps you would be interested in actually shaping our future rather than just trusting the first things that someone tells you...
Such as the ones saying EU is the evil incarnated and want to come back to a rather primitive and nowadays weak, kind of states?
Oh yes. Like Russia for example. Those evil comunists are soo weak and small in comparison to the allmighty EU. Being a sovereign state doesn't mean you'r weak Jim, not always unity=power or strength, as in this case... EUROPE as we know it is the next USSR on a different kind of manipulation.
Russia...name me one country in EU that is comparable to Russia, military wise, population wise, diplomacy wise. There is NONE. Quite the example to NOT throw out. France-Germany couple can compete, and even...
Oh yes manipulation, "the governement is lieing to you, they manipulate you" heard that already sufficient times to know when it's the case and when it's not.
Wow Jim...Genius! And why is no one like Russia then? I mean its not like they haven't had their bad times and trouble...with the colaps and all. Perhaps they have something i like to call nationalism and self preservation. Unlike all other countries that would sell themselves for a bit of the neighbour's wealth and prosperity... Like France and Germany. And you wouldn't know manipulation if someone said it was. Tip : Not everything that politicians say is true and sometimes they don't even mean it!
Russia has been a superpower for a long time. UK used to be one, but they tended to be minimized with the rise of USSR during and after WW2. UK was a major actor until WW2 end. They are still a decent military power, but they lost their superpowerness a while before joining EU if anyone was to cry wolf about it.
Nationalism...do you know what it caused within Europe? This being a good thing? Oh my god, and you're the one trying to give lessons in the end of your posts...priceless.
Russia isn't really either the kind of balanced country...so it's diplomacy/militarian superpower...but I don't think the living there is among the best. Unless you want to live in an authoritarian regime self admiring and cutting down opposition who doesn't agree...
"Lesson" is competly uncalled, as if you bothered to read my posts Mr with "
" smiley user, I pointed out that people tend to tell bs...because you know...politicians aren't all right wing pro EU, but also left wing, anti EU etc...
