What do you mean? I've used Opera Mini in the past month or so, and it works fine for me. Except when i change preferences. But i doubt that's the games fault.

new opera bug

when opening a new tab you get
browser error...cannot determine referring page.
To Login to the game, use the main page form.
Please ensure your browser supports passing referring information (referrer logging). This information is used SOLELY to ensure your visit is your own, and from our site. The referrer logging is enabled by default in all browsers, and very standard on the internet.
Also note that typing in urls, or using links that are not matched to your current login, will not work.
This is to protect you and your account from fraudulent activities and/or hacks.
Your broswer information is below for your reference, as is a list of methods to allow referrer logging. exiting....

actual refering information: .
broswer: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.10.
your IP:196.210.221.225.

INTERNET EXPLORER 6
This can be done from the computer's Control Panel > Internet Options, or from within the browser Tools > Internet Options.

Click Security.
Click Trusted Sites then Sites.
Add *.stargatewars.com website address in the box provided and click Add.
Uncheck the box that requires https verification.
Click the Privacy tab (Medium is an acceptable setting on the slider, but click Sites and again enter your website address)
Now click Allow.
Click Apply.
This has only altered settings for your website and this does not otherwise affect your browsing.

FIREFOX, NETSCAPE

Type about:config in the URL address bar.
A large collection of alphabetically listed information will appear in the browser window.
Search for network.http.sendRefererHeader.
By default, this should be set at 2.
If it is set to 0 - which disables sending referrers - right click it, select Modify and enter 2 as the value.
If that doesn't work, try a value of 1
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Network.http. ... ererHeader for more information.

OPERA

If you have disabled it, go to Tools > Preferences > Privacy and re-enable it.
Latest Version is Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Network and ensure 'enable referrer logging' is enabled.
You can also go Tools > Quick Preferences and ensure 'enable referrer logging' and 'enable javascript' are both enabled.
Although it should not make a difference, you can also ensure that you are not loading cached pages. This can be done by setting Tools > Preferences > Advanced > History and changing the dropdown under 'check if page is updated on server' - 'check documents' - to 'always'.

see http://www.opera.com/support/search/sup ... ?index=454 for more details.

If you have software on your computer that is filtering the HTTP 'referer' header, you will experience problems viewing the site.

Many consumer software firewalls, such as Norton Personal Firewall (which is also part of Norton Internet Security), ZoneAlarm, and McAfee, remove the referrer from HTTP requests which will prevent you from viewing images or downloading files on any site that does a referrer check. Therefore, such options should always be turned off.

For Symantec and Norton Firewalls: Go to the Privacy Settings and disable 'Privacy Control'. (Please note that 'Privacy Control' does not protect your privacy in any way, as your IP address will always be logged regardless of that setting).
For ZoneAlarm: Go to Privacy -> Cookie Control -> Custom and uncheck 'remove private header information'.
For McAfee Firewall: Go to Privacy Service -> Protect my Identity -> Erase Revealing Information and uncheck 'Prevent Referer Information to be Shared'.

Software like AdSubstract also blocks the referrer and makes image viewing impossible.
I don't have a Opera program that has tabs. But it's due to a referencing error in Opera I'm pretty sure. And not the game.

I've tried to fix the referring error, no success.
Anyone else fixed it on v10.51?

And anyone got new ones?

The alliance leader and 2IC can see who is on vacation in the alliance page already - it shows them up as rank 0 (though this also applies to anyone autobanned too)

Maybe take off negative ppt time? if thats do-able.
Making people unable to attack unless they have a certain amount of defence?

Whats the reason for negative PPT time?

Whilst the second one is a good idea, there is work around. For example, only training normals. And how would the value be worked out?
I think one of the ideas Jason had would help with this. Uniform supers (aka attack and defence the same). This way, if someone is massing you, and you mass them back, you can effectively mass their super attackers.

I'm not against the ideas (except maybe the PPT one) just trying to explore them further.

Most of that can easily be gotten around. Forcing supers to be trained to a 1:1 ratio with the amount of attack supers and normals/mercs.
Or just make it so you need some amount of defence to be able to attack (comparable to army size??)

the negative ppt time is counted until next turn change. SO you get ppt until the next turn change.

I have a tweak I would love to see put in.

In a nut shell, let the raid feature still exist for those over the raid limit, but instead of gaining the UU you execute them on the spot.

There is a serious unbalance created by disabling the raid feature on accounts over the limit. 1. Raid lets you destroy a defense WITHOUT sending in your MS. 2. If your opponent untrained 50 mill men, there is nothing you can do, but if you did the same they can raid you.

I do not like any situation that permits one to use tactics on another that can't be used on them, and thats whats going on now.

The change still enforces the raid limit and controls growth same as before, but just makes the attack useful and elliminates the instance of having attacks used on you that you can't use on your attacker.

that make sense?

I like it Lore. I'd never considered this situation, and i can see why it would be nice to be able to.

Both of these could be achieved with relation to supers if supers were used for both attack and defence yeah? Though i do agree that some defence requirement should be needed

So you'd prefer that it ended then and there?

Well it doesnt really matter, and i dont care, alot of people wouldnt care, as long as it gets fixed damn soon.

And again i dont mind, i just dont see why it cant end then and there, adds more randomness.
