after much thought, i decided to post those thoughts :-D

ok, pops, you seem to think i am not in favour of unity, peace and cooperation...thats not the case as you know it.
what that means is, i despise and hate the EU in its current form because it removes boarders and boundaries and mixes all the races of europe, it also locks nations into agreements which are NOT beneficial to workers and industry. it also costs billions of £'s and Euros to run because of the immense bureaucracy, it also strips nations of the ability and supreme right to govern themselves and do whats best for themselves. when you look at whats happening in greece those last 2 become self evident!

NOW, i have no problem with say, a council of europe where all european countries can come together and meet, discuss, debate on matters and make recommendations to the people of european countries and let the people decide if its a good idea or not...follow me?
in this way we can remain sovereign (IE, we dont give up our right to make up our own laws...the french included) but work together. in this way, when there is a financial problem such as the 1 faced by greece something can be done and done quickly.
the drawbacks of the EU unfortunately outweigh the benefits of the EU, but i am afraid that nothing short of the total collapse of the euro will open your eyes and make you see just how bad AND wrong the current form and idealogical idea of EU is.

we in britain can see better than you because we are outside of the EU looking in. we see what we had/have, we see that 80% of OUR laws are now made up by bureaucrats in brussels who we DIDNT vote for...that in my book is the very definition of fascism. we see what is happening to countries like Greece, Portugal and Spain, we see that we are not even in the EU fully yet it is costing the British taxpayer £40 million every single day...and for what?! so we can hand some unelected officials the right to make OUR laws?!

a council of Europe whereby NOBODY is LOCKED into ANYTHING they cannot live by is FAAAAR more preferable than me letting MY Govt hand over MY rights to people i cannot vote out of power for making a mistake , corruption or anything else.
