Why is that. I can understand the logic. You can lie to mercs, but lying to a weapons just means it'll break.

But in terms of game mechanics, it'd just give ME chassers something else to kill freely

Well if mercs, weapons or supers die because of upkeep then it won't show up on ME.

Plus ME has not been fixed ME is so bugged you can't count on anything you read on it.

So really i don't get all this ME hunting for what reason ME is wrong and faulty.

It works well in the other game where you got this but weapons set up is much different. You no longer repair weapons there, you lose the weapon when the man dies.

It works much better there because a def never falls till the last man dies, unlike here where weapons fail after 30 hits or so, no matter how many, or how strong they all fail. See there Defense is not as much a liability as it is here, since here defenses are useless. There there is a signifigant cost to massing, and there is NO "free massing" where you can kill 50 mill men(because of weapon failure) for 0 losses.

I dont think this idea will work well in TGW myself, but feel free to try to develope the idea to something that might work here.

Not because you loose the weapons. Because they "break" and you only have men and mercs left, which as Lore pointed out, you just hit for 0 losses, and kill large ammounts freely
