Yeah I laughed at him being in it, I wish he he did more, or maybe was a bit more evil. I thought he could give so much more.

Yes, I agree with everyone here, SHE IS HOT and the Doctor is pretty damn amazing.

Bad Wolf

Still a Fan.

I liked this week's episode, except a couple of things bugged me about it:
1) Wouldn't the Dr notice that the entire city was on the back of a space whale?
2) Couldn't he have helped build an actual engine instead of resorting to making it brain-dead?
3) What happened to every other country? Did they build proper spaceships? If so, why didn't Britain? If not, was the UK the only country to leave?
I did like the episode....but the above seemed like pretty big plotholes for me when watching it......if you can resolve them, I can watch it much more happily a second time

Have to agree, the plot was full of holes, the episode was OK but the script was lacking any witty banter and the story was certainly not a memorable one.

Still I am looking forward to next weeks, the idea of Daleks in WW2 has a lot of potential :D
1) He was, at the time, too concerned with every other country staying behind to consider every option. And believe you me, a space whale is a pretty rare occurrence.
2) If he could, every other country would be along for the ride with Britain. Then again, who needs any other country but Britain?
3) In order: They remained behind. No. They did the best they could with the means they had. Umm.. looked around yet? :P Collectivey ditching the planet is a brilliant -and therefore British!- thing to do.
yeh from the camera angle it was obvious that the space whale was visable from underneath lol

todays episode was a big fat dissapointment, very contrived

new Dulex...sorry Daleks...are arranged into sections (tactics etc) which goes against the whole ideal of daleks, a superior race should not need any specialists with the exception of a commander (supreme dalek), its been stated in previous seres that even an individual dalek drone is a genius ("Dalek")

I was hoping that a new exciting executive producer, and new exciting doctor, might depart from Daleks. They've been the 'big bad' of three out of four of the new series, and tonight's episode makes me worried that it might turn out to be four out of five.

Not that I don't like the Daleks, but I was hoping there might be some new original villain this time. Maybe there still might be, who knows.

i think, and hope, that this episode is merely a precurser for their return in the next series...with luck it'll be the cybermen who are the series villains

Kinda funny to see Daleks serving tea, but TBH the episode was disappointing, so much potential wasted with what the Daleks could have done in WW2, the most unconvincing Churchill ever, and please tell me how the hell propeller aircraft fly in space.

I think this latest series is aimed at a younger viewer, good for the little kiddies, bad for me.

The reason the Daleks keep showing up is they sell bucket loads of them as toys for kids....hence the mutli colour ones that showed up...The kids will want them all so that means more cash for selling them...
As for the lastest episode it was not that good...you would think that one of the Daleks would shot the Doctor when he was running around speaking to the guy in the fighter plane when he was not looking :D
Also is it just me or is the music in the show far to loud...i have trouble hearing what they say for most of the show....I rewatched it later on with my brother though iplayer on my computer and it sounded alot better the watching it though Virgin on my TV..

So....verdicts so far?

Gotta say it hasn't lived up to my expectations from the first episode.....Karen Gillan seems to shout all her lines.....Matt Smith can't go ten minutes without shouting "No, no, no, NO!".....I don't think the writing has been particularly good, and overall it doesn't feel as enganging as the last few seasons.....

The only remotely interesting thing is:
grabbing a bit of the tardis out of that crack
yeh have to agree with you on that

the writing hasnt been that great

i do however, like the newer slightly more eccentric doctor

also, latest episode was pretty good, in that
Rory is gone...good riddance
