If you're emotionally mature, you can take a joke at your expense.
Sarcasm and mockery are the greatest forms of flattery.

KnowLedge wrote:exactly my point roket..
for example, im in canada and we make fun of EVERYONE.. and sometimes your own kind gets made fun of too.. but no one minds it. as long as its in control, and not too much out of control..
so idk what you saying, when you say that we rnt allowed to make fun of muslims or christains.

i sometimes think everyone who calls some1 a raciets, are hypocrites
I think we shell all wait till the original poster makes his question clear..

To illustrate how christians could react if they took a leaf out of the book of Muhammad.

This might not be the case in USA, so I'm asking this to all people from Europe and Australia (and South Africa?).
It's not that I myself don't understand why, I just want your opinion/version about it.
I am personally against this fact, if you want to know my stance.

i asked my teacher this question (with regards to men-women) once.
her answer was that it is a known phenomenon, that the stronger faction is more susceptible to jokes, and it being the butt of jokes is more legitimate.
it took me some time to see that it was utter rubish.
i can't see this happening in apartheid south africa, for example
whoever is more aggresive and more willing to fight, will make his side less susceptible to being joked about.
the current wave of political correctness makes for the phenomenon you describe to be aparent.

Young gens of christians are less likely to take it wrong, however, for muslims, it can be as much young as old whom would overreact.

Let's remember that islam is in its 1400's, this might explain that...we are in our 2000's...hebraism is in its 3200's or something..
