yes every word has different meanings, the one i posted was the first one.
How do you know i am not deeply offended by this racial insult?

I can be offended by it or I cant be, does not matter much because it is what it is, a personal insult.

Does the ombudsman even know about this yet?

reason? Because we live in a urban society. we cant ignore the current slangs being used currently.
you guys give out warnings for a word which was considered an insult in the 19th century, but you don't ban another word that is considered in the 21th century?

what sort of logic is it?

i actually had no idea there was another thread about this, i only posted over here because i truly feel i am personally insulted. and justice must come.

That's a bit demeaning isn't it coming from a forum admin? Jim is only trying to do his job.

That's the meaning I meant. Don't know where the hell he got his definition, but well..not all of us base our Knowledge on urbandictionary definitions (meaning by this, words we use are in the sense this site provides)

'trying' being the operative word there. Earendil informs him that what Jim believes is his job, is not his job. Who else but a forum admin would tell him that?

You also need a warning then if such word deserves one.

That's totally appropriate to your behaviour, so stop trying to cover your back, you started it and you are the only one guilty here! Just because it's convenient to use urban dictionary to accuse someone of having insulted, doesn't mean that all of us base ourselves on it for words we use. I have better standards to find my words than this "dictionary".

Eh, "e-thug" isn't a "warnable" offense. Case closed?

The main definition of thug is : an aggressive and violent young criminal (not sure why they have to be young)

Therefore an e-thug would be the same definition except it occurs on the internet.

The problem with that definition is the "skinny white kid". Who decided they had to be white?
