low rank means fewer AT, and why have any income when you can sit with 0 stats and farm all you need from inactives and never give anyone anything to kill?

Someone needs have a rank so everyone else can drop rank and reap the benifits

some people dont farm though and just sit on 17 bill planets and a massive defence with a massive assassin action. Rendering them very hard to destroy. But fun.

Yes it is I dunno why you even suggested it here

But in doing that the top ranked people will eventually be the people with the highest physical levels, rendering the massing ultimately negative towards personal growth on a fairly inactive server

pretty much. But whether you have high physicals or not you still wouldnt want to be a low rank. They should have inversed the turn production so the lower the rank the more turns you receive.

I agree with that. Snipers take longer to gain turns, and those with stats can play more to maintain their possition.

but then again its still pointless.

eh, at least it promots high rank, and not snipering (well, less so anyway)
