I had a few ideas I was telling Sarevok, and he suggested I post em. So I will let you into the dark abyss that is my mind for a minute. To much longer might scar you.

Idea #1:

This idea is for forum activity, but I feel it will help with game play as well.
Incentive based brain storming. Admin offers like 5K AT to the best game suggestion. This can be done either to get more opinions on up coming updates. Or suggestions for future ones.

We stir ideas for game, and involve players more, which stimulates activity.

Idea #2:

Incentive based tournaments, both alliance/Empire based, and completely random. First off this shows admin is supporting game play. Second it creates an arena where anyone can join, even if allianceless. This helps with meeting people, and encouraging friendships. Community is why many people stay with games.

I will edit post with more ideas when they are properly worded in my head.

Idea 1: I would say prob not 5k AT. Maybe like 500, for everyone that contributes *constructively* to an idea. So no AT for those that say "This idea is crap, dump it". Though this would have to be given to only ideas that are implemented (lest we all go for free AT developing random ideas lol)

Idea 2: I like this. Like fixing blood realm, to allow tournaments to take place in there. Improved AT generation, improved income and UP, and just dukeing it out for a while

In all seriousness, why would I promote this game. Sure it would be nice to have more active players, but why would I do Admin a favor? He's barely active and even with him working on a new batch of updates after over a year off, he doesn't even listen to us half the time despite the number of players telling him his House idea is crap.

How about making it so only 75% max of your army size can be in miners, everyone would be forced to train / use the other 25%. should boast stats and fighting, and make wars winnable through attrition :smt047

This can still be bypassed by having units in attackers, so they can't be killed. However, if we could work out a way to kill attackers, then this could be a valid option.

Wouldn't that be a relatively simple update, simply introducing something along the lines of sacrifice 2x Defender to hit 1x Attackers, along the same lines as lifer suicide?

That would still be to large benefit to the sniper. Rather then massing them, and the defender taking similar losses (till the defence is down), they are always taking 2x your own losses.

But if you were to only make it standard defence units hit standard attack units, which you could argue is really only ever used to hide units, it wouldn't be grossly unbalanced.

So it's good for the sniper? Or bad for them. Just cause from what i can see, it's good for them. They may loose 10m attackers, but the other person looses 20m defenders.
