I have been only once STRAIGHT online and that was back in the days when I was in the UK (2,5 years back), even then I wasn`t straight online, I only logged in once in a while for banking but the longest was about 36hrs and that was due to war we had and since load of alliance mates were from UK, it was easy to coordinate

I did something like this only once and I had fun and that`s what this game is all about...

online mmorpg`s aren`t as bad as normal pc games since here you have to log in only a few times a day to do your business as in pc games you need to sit straight all day ehind the computer if you want to get somewhere...

I would say that playing this game for 4 or more years is worse than how much time you spend daily behind it
Certain people get eventually fed up with a certain game and move on, perhaps playing another....

Basically you could be talking about majority of players around here not having a life when we take into consideration the YEARS (not hours) they kept playing

The reason I started playing again was due to being unemployed. The way I figure it, if I step outside my door... I'm gonna spend money that I can't afford to spend. It's nearly impossible to live in Chicago and not spend money daily. Therefore I give up 3 days/week and commit to playing this game. That gives me 4 day weekends to hang out with friends if I can afford to. Weekday nights are usually meaningless anyways when it comes to hanging out with friends. How else do you think I manage to get so many missed PPTs and farm 30T/day?

Not that anyone needs to know, but I've always been one for not sleeping much. I get headaches if I sleep more than 6 hours straight. When I have a job, I get 4 hours of sleep. Weekends, I'd sleep 5 hours. Summer weekends, I'd get 2-3 hours of sleep. So playing GW straight thru for 3 days is no major feat for me.

Do I have a life? For 3 days/week... no. The other 4 days/week are optional.

You wouldn't believe what a pain it is having two windows each with about 20 tabs and one window with 20 tabs set to reload every 30 minutes... only to have that message pop up every 3 hours and screw up all those tabs.

About 24 hours is the longest I survived, back during the server war when I built up a defense I was trying to protect. Got massed about an hour after I went to sleep

I usually can't survive much past about 24 hours of being awake so there is usually that point that I just need sleep.

PS You guys are crazy And yet I'm in awe!

A couple of hours. Idk even know. 6 tops most likely less.

3 hour warning is how I tell that I need to stop procrastinating and get back to work.

I cant say I've been logged in for any great period of time. Though whilst not at uni or out, i will often login every turn change to farm. Worst part, is where i start playing origins. Dam that kept me up an extra hour once. Was trying to get a covert level on origins. So, i'd farm main, about 10 past the hour. Wait about 5-10 mins, then farm origins, wait another 5 mins, farm main AGAIN, and repeat for about 3-4 hours. I was tired the next morning...

WOW! TBH I don't have any idea. I remember cold winter days of ascending and raiding. Where I'd be on for like 12-15 hours prolly.

Damn I hate the 3 hour time out!

8-10 hours I'd think, tops.

Not trying to make a bad comment here..but how can you guys stay on this for hours on end..do youse not get headaches and your eyes start getting all fuzzy and sore.

Hmm let me see i have been in this game for soon 5 years feel old.

The longest online i ever did must have been 1week with no sleep i couldn't sleep, a famely member had just died and after that week i vaced for some reason CoP wouldn't allow me to play on lol i did try and ask them and stay in my alliance because of the serverwar so i VACED lol and went to the funnural and then went for like what felt like a year without SGW because i couldn't log in as i was in not mood for war or anything nor to leave my alliance lol that was the days.

Hence why i always have all tabs set to reload every 30 minuts for 2 hours and 30 minuts then i have one windows set to reload after 3 hours straight then log in and esactly as i log in on that tab the others reload and does so again every 30 minut for 2½ hours lol.

Works like a charm and screws nothing up FireFox FTW.
