For the record i've been here for over 2 years, and this account is about the same as my original account lol the only difference is i've made like 50 off it

Thing is...

It makes the game realistic... in life there will always be the $ waving people who solve their problems with cash. And others who work hard to achieve their goals.

Some people use cosmetic surgery to make them better looking, such as removing fat and stuff. While others change their diet and go to the gym cause they can't afford the surgery.

I don't plan on 'hating' anyone in a game - I don't make it personal.

Life isn't fair.

I don't see the problem. Think about it this way. You could spend an hour farming accounts in game for a profit. OR, you can go work somewhere for an hour, earn, lets say $10, and buy 10T naq with it. Different ways to do things. Same result.

IMO, the only real difference, is the honour thing. Would you rather say "I built this account from scratch, and it's awesome" Or "I bought this account, and it's awesome"

Its a good challenge takeing on people who spend Dollars, i appreciate them , it makes beating them all the more sweeter . So long as someone knows when they are beat , doesnt bother me how they play, as long as they keep on playin.

If were talking cash its an irritation i admit sometimes knowing they have half the investment in time i agree. However as with everything in life its what you make of it and the fates rarely play fair. Besides to get anywhere you face challenges best way to handle the situation is to stop griping and smile. Enjoy the challenge and youll be alot happier in the end.

I have never spent money on this game, other then what i've made lol and upgrading from there other then my 20 dollar SS, and I agree to a degree about the ones that buy resources after resources, it gives them an unfair advatadge but, ah well lol it's not that much more for them lol

And you can't buy skill.

If you're talking about those that just run in their bank and they transact some money and bam a shiny account with top 10 MS fully ascended etc etc and they brag about it then I do agree with you.
If you're talking about those that build their accounts up, sell them for resources/$$ and use these resources/$$ for buying a better account then I disagree with you.

I'd also like to say, I have nothing against supporting admin and his crew for the time and work they've spent on the game. He did deserve it last time I did.
And I will support admin again once he has fixed the bugs that are ruining the game.

When Technocracy went to war with Forgotten Serenity, it was a matter of FS's war accounts vs Technocracy's resource accounts. We knew we were in for the long haul. We weighed our options and found that buying accounts with larger motherships was significantly cheaper ( in-game resource wise ) than building accounts on our own. Therefore we set out on a quest to have those in our alliance that wanted new accounts to gather the resources necessary to buy the better accounts. In our case, it's players that knew how to play... we just eliminated the time it took to get those types of accounts.

Why waste 400T+ naq building a 1T MS, when you can probably buy one for 200T and at the same time get more ascensions out of the way? For us, it was economically the best option for us to quickly compete against their accounts and in the end , I feel that it paid off. Mind you, none of the accounts were bought with $ out of pocket. It was just our manipulation of the resource and $ market that got us the better accounts.

Maybe not, but what was once a matter of skill between people of two equal accounts, you can buy an MS twice as large as your old one and then go "hahahahaha lololol noob you suck can't even destroy my awsumm mothership!!!11"

It's an unfortunate truth because it does happen. All I can do for myself is not become one of those people.

well someone has built the account and skill is a massive part of the game.

And i don't see the problem with buying accounts. i've had a few differents accounts, but all the ones i've recieved have been gifted to me ( its a pity thing haha)


I still don't see the problem here. especially not if you're talking about people buying accounts with ingame resources.
