I think Mezz was explaining how Admin should fix the current faults in the game first before he releases new ones, makes sense eh? so STHU

Admin fixed double ME bug and was working on alliance war bug as well (didn't test it again lately, anyone did?)

If people are saying he should fix the faults with the game first then it would be nice if they'd list what they perceive to be the faults - either here or in a thread in the appropriate section.
Let's face it, some people consider MSs a fault - others don't, others consider MS Tech a fault, others don't, the fact that snipering is the only way to play is a fault seen by many but not by others, planet calculation is a fault that is again not universally seen, etc etc. So that's why a list or a general indication of what you think are faults is appreciated - at least by me

even if I don't agree what the perceived fault is.
I also love seeing people complain about the updates who don't go to the Admin meetings. While I can appreciate that not everyone can make them due to timing, they really are the best way of discussing what you think the issues are with Admin and yeah I'm guilty of that too as I can't make them all either but I try to go to the ones I can when I'm not otherwise unavailable. Be polite, take examples, do your homework and have suggestions for alternatives and you may find yourself pleasantly surprised- not always though. (still miffed about non killable attack supers

) But it's a way of trying.
Despite that though people still have to play the game the way it is laid out and that means taking on board the updates and this time that's houses and the fact that defence is now going to be worth something

Hiibip, HOORAY! (finally)

Since FUALL can dominate the house of their choice through sheer numbers it's not surprising you support this 'Empire' update. And Admin no doubt wants to keep the players who spend the most $$$$ on ATs and SSs happy.
Many detailed and very good suggestions have been made in the 'Suggestions for Admin' section, I made some myself, and seen others get lots of support and interest, but most people have given up posting them now because admin wont read them.

Given FS's choices about not wanting to ally with anyone it's not surprising you don't support this update.
FUALL can dominate one house that they want - big deal! Go into the other house and dominate that or at least don't get kicked out and problem solved - at least from the concept of NOX.
Here's some surprising news though - TAF can dominate a house, as can EOB and TITANS and NEMESIS and The Confederacy. Mayhem and Chaos could have a good chance themselves (can't remember their army sizes sorry Mayhem). TL while being one allaince, has a good chance as well. Most of the Empires can get a house.
The fun comes when people want the same house. And yes it is fun.
FS made a choice a while back not to be in a group apart from themselves and that's the way the cookie crumbles but there is nothing stopping you from allying with another group to take control of a house. Nothing except FS's desire to remain alone and able to farm everything - which is your choice of course - but it's not like FS haven't been closely allied with others in the past.
And while I know many people have made many good suggestions in the For Admin section, don't you think making the suggestion directly to Admin at the meeting is a better method? I'm not saying stop making the threads, they are needed to show community support of the idea, but making the suggestion directly to him also works but that's something you didn't even comment on.

Tekki has some good points
alliances that have banded together will profit more from this because they will get the house they want
alliances that went solo either need to kiss the ass off of the others and face the fact they won't get the house they want
one down sider to this i see is that a few alliances will/might be booted as soon as a head is chosen but thats politics for you

Tekki you made good point(s), but i still think if LONE WOLF players are allowed to stay alone and are given bonuses to that, un-empired alliances should have the chance to do such thing aswell, because if that is not an option, than the game is not RPG, because you can't really play anything aside from that admin have chosen for us.
Thats all there is.

i think admin possibly put the chuck norris thing in because a lot of ME chasers just go after allianceless people (saftey in number) this giving them a chance

As I said, it's an Empire update, created to benefit the empires in the game and give more bonuses to those who need them the least. Yes it's true FS value our independence and freedom, but take a look and the ranks by alliances, I cant see it right now because the game is down but what are there, 20 30 pages with 30 alliance per page, there are hundreds of alliances in this game, and the majority are not in empires.
I think it would be funny if everyone joined the same house and voted some alliance no-one had ever heard of as leader

That makes your decision not to check beta out a lot more inconsistent.

If indeed you feel you should try before judging, why not try on beta?
