Um no it's not that much

Depending on the bank size - take yours for example approximately would have gone from 75t to about 200-250trillion with spending about 20-30t of the alliance naq.

True. I made the error of taking my total bank and using the 1m% as multiplier. Whoops. My natural bank is just 2.4T.

As for the million %, I spoke to someone whose alliance bank contained over 2Q Naq. Either I was fooled, or that could get you a 1m% increase of your natural bank. (Okay, granted, that would probably max out at about 8Q on someone with a 60B+ income.)


Or am I still missing the point? If I am, sorry for my mistake Tekki.. I have a lot of those lately.

I really hope there's a limit to bank increase and that it doesn't go as people said here, because people who spent years to PPT twice a week and ascend, or/and who bought many SS/USS (especially if they are lone wolves) will be equalled by people who had tiny bank for some reason and sooner or later will be close to catch them up without having worked at all on their bank prior to update.

This update actually gives newer accounts the chance to catch up without having to spend on USS or lose their own market turns.

And as Tekki says, its a boost, but its hardly millions of percents....

So ppting twice a week is work?

Some people decided to spend their MTs on something else, and thus chose another way to go. Don't see why those people (unless they bought SS/USS of course) would benefit from what the others did, without actually doing it.
If you spend your MTs on merlins or on ATs don't see why afterwards you would benefit from bank increase, also, it kinda nullifies the use of bank increase from market, or if you prefer, creates a gap between lone wolves and people within alliances regarding bank increase.

Besides, that's a rather pointless argument to make, there.

The point is that some alliances can upgrade a LOT. That's no secret. If they spend all the naq in the bank.

Let's say they have 150trillion (I do not believe anyone COULD have 2quad in the in game alliance bank without ... dubious methods.) Then yes they could upgrade the banks to about 2quad, IF they spent it all.

However most alliances have less in the bank.

LOL if you ask really nicely you can get into an alliance before they do the upgrades on the bank and there you go, instant bank for you even when you leave.

Hell, I might even accept payment to get into Delta before I do more upgrades.

Indeed. There's already people paying for the privilege....

Besides pops, lone wolves now get 10% attack and def bonus.....they can't complain too much.

Anyway, the alliance bank seems to be working as it should be.....and the repairing weps and ppt will certainly add some more strategy later on in the game

i think admin and some of you may have failed to see the possible exploits of the other purchases.

yes you can spend all day doing 1% increases to the allaince bank but ther real problems are the other 2.

repairing all defence weapons for the alliance needs to be limited to 1-2 per week. if there is no limit it will make massing almost impossible. if someone starts massing your allaince the leader/2ic if they are online can just repair weaposn all day long and make massing ineffective. at the same time you can rotate your leadership to ensure someone is always online to be on "watch" and repair allaince weapons.

the same thing can be used for the alliance ppt. you can just use up to 12 hours ppt in one go until all your allaince mates log in to prepare for war or merlin planets or watever.

needs to be changed and limited to 1-2 per week on each one. otherwise too exploitable in my view.
