While I understand the frustrations with respect to nox (I feel them all the time), having nox on in a fight changes the game from button mashing and repairing to a game of strategy and seeing how you can hit your opponents. For once I actually agree with bebita on something

Massing someone who had nox on at 0 before, meant that, too successfully mass, you had an extra few hits at the end of said mass, assumeing they were offline (massing someone online with nox didnt really work)
Now it seems massing someone Offline with nox on, is equally as impossible, i seem to have noticed, that there are not enough attacks avaliable, if they are on crit, to successfully finish the job in one turn.
Am i wrong, working it out wrongly, or they are infact not starting on 0? Someone, please tell me im going insane. And that this isnt infact a fact.

I actually think it's pretty awesome, simply because I can't stand people that only mass others when they're offline. Now if they wanna do it, it's costly and they need to be determined to finish them off. I highly doubt you will see one player massing an entire alliance anymore, either.
Now it requires a team effort to mass people.

Also means, you can mass them to say 75% before Nox takes affect, then you can sab their weapons more effectively, and finish the job, with lots of AC to finish the massing AND AC as well still.
Also means that you can sab them, get someone else to do some more, and make the final massing even easier. Promote teamwork.

I am all for teamwork, but i should be able to whip a mans ass when i see fit. Right now thats impossible.

Try sabotaging them before phasing them. Or sabotage after you've mostly massed, and have some AC trained for the final few hits to try to kill off some spies. Then you can sabotage with less guys, and probably finish off the defence.

No no no, Not an option, this is WAYYYY too defensive.
You cannot mass someone inside the amount of attacks if they are on Nox and critical, you can sab them better sure, but whats to stop the old idea of, bigish defence, and LOADS of spies. Now defences are even better protected, this will work even better than before (when at a push it was rather difficult to work with, now its downright madness) . ABove this is the fact that you can simply Drop nox while you mass/farm, then Up nox when your ready to defend. Good god almighty, defences could stand for months!

This is very very VERY rare, I agree with Bebs
There have been several suggestions for making def worth having like linking def to other stats so you have to have say a 1 trill def to use a 2 trill strike etc. And my own suggestion of a fatigue meter to stop 1 person massing a whole alliance.
This new Nox limit justs mean you need high covert levels to sab instead, admin you just killed 'massing'

OMG I too agree with Bebita
Currently a person phases at 1500 sucessful AT's used on them. I believe to 0 a def it takes 2k AT's
There is also no correlation between the size of def and turns needs (I think this might have always been the case...but it's wrong). As an example it took me 2k turns to mass a 400bil def....it also took 2k turns to mass a 1tril+ def
trying to mass someone that is online is an almost impossible task now (assuming they have an ounce of intelligence)
and finally......sabbing is a lot more powerful now...which is great. But when someone covert phases, and the turn ticks over you don't always have the ability to sab again....and at best you only get 1 more attempt (I thought this was always previously 4?). As said you don't even get this 1 attempt everytime...seems to be a lottery

Last time i tried, i couldn't ever do it the turn after phase, and the second turn after, i could only ever do it a maximum of 2x.

sabbing is great and always been like that
only % of sabbing is changed and i bellieve is a litllte to high
i turn 4 tril attack in 150 bil and i bellieve is kinda to much
