Both Virus JC and Brythalious graciously responded to my very first ingame message.

Virus JC wrote me to tell me that he has changed the planet name and expressed hope that the bug could be fixed...


considering how long it's been apparent that we won't get to have

apostrophes or other symbols in our planet names ever again,
I'd say it probably never occurred to him.


Perhaps said planet was merlined at one point,

which could have theoretically allowed a spy report to work properly...?

-- and would account for the timespan where he was spy-able earlier...


I"m on PPT, but I did check his stats page.

He has 9 planets atm, though I didn't think to check his planet count earlier...


Most likely fixed... but time will tell.

Thanks to Warlords of Briton for being good sports...

I'm off to rename one of my planets to "Apostrophes" just to prove my earlier statement technically incorrect...
