I know people say that being fed is just part of this game now....
but it doesn't help when those that buy USS are also being fed

00:53 knight 406297551065 ~Ze~ 376021039152 203,799,302,989 Naquadah lost
If you thought it was hard to keep up......I'm guessing the highest UP might be on it's way up

If you guys played and thought things through before you buy 100 more def weps instead of whining on forums then you would be able to keep up with top UPs. Just today I farmed over 200b, and it's not like you can't

while this is true, for a lot of people farming 200bil a day is only possible if they have turns.

average farm 700mil
turns per day 480
so 40 attacks at 12 turns per hit
so thats 28bil a day atm for the average player.

If they didn't waste them for small hits they would have had the turns.

Yes, but you either need to then have a larger strike for farming those with larger defenses, which puts you at risk for being massed or sabbed, or you have to have a decent strike to snipe people while they are farming. Simple fact is those who play normally without feeding or getting USS are at a large disadvantage compared to those who don't and especially those who do both. Strange how those who are saying stop complaining are often in that last category.

Even before the USSs there were people who whined all the time even when top UPs weren't by the people getting fed big time

People may have whined about people getting fed, but I don't believe there was much about top UP. I know my alliance had the top UP 3 people in a row before the market came out, which was why Mathlord was the first to ascend. But just because they whined before, doesn't mean they don't have a damn good reason to now. I personally don't mind it being that high, just makes mine that much cheaper to get up.

Total was amongst highest but their raw was always a few K under top
And that's not the point, the point is that the same people that whine now, whined before and will always whine. Even before market opened they whined, even if top UP wasn't by someone getting fed big time, they whined. If they invested so much time into playing and thinking about the strategy rather than whining, they wouldn't be so much behind now.

ehhh it seems like this
non fed/USS players can hope to at best reach 75% of what the top UP is
do the best you can with that all you can do, i'm expecting a level 13 by the time non fed players reach level 9-10

Total was the highest off and on

I have no problem with the different strategies of building a strike and sniping the defenses or hitting the lower accounts. One is great risk, great reward. The other is just standard plug and chug.
I guess the argument can be made that you should wait a few days until the naq amounts increase to really farm and boost your stuff as opposed to plodding along using your turns each day. However it is far easier for someone who gained a huge USS lead to talk about waiting around not doing much for a few days than someone who is trying to catch up

In the end it doesn't really matter. We'll all get where we can and see where we end up.
Seriously though, you guys go on and on and on about "whiners" who complain about not being able to keep up. How about a little less condescension and arrogance in every single post? That way it makes it a little easier for everyone to want to play ball and have fun, instead of this annoyance.

It isn't about being arrogant, it is about being sick of all the "wah wah I can't keep up with top" QQ posts.
I bought USSs with Quantum naq (and it's not like you can't) therefore I'm still at disadvantage against those who bought it with their own money and do you see me whining here about how hard it is to keep pace with them?
