well the long version is:

i ve set a thread to sell my account, few guys discuss there waht is worth my account lowering considerably its price.
then i see some lulz and smiles on my thread.

i reported one of them and wrote in the msg if i can have my thread cleaned so it concerns only the sale of my account.

a mod clean it at all , and then straight after Roket posted some genuine valuation of my account, backed from another one chris
"to me it looks like lets garbage other accounts so we sell ours or buy them cheap"
in the contest he mentioned that my account isnt worth even 50$ and bla bla bla.
i reported the thread again and after several hrs i posted to protect my sale.
in my post i ve explained whats worth in my account and also clarified that its not a Price Check

roket post was reported as spam coz it didnt fit in any other category, but his post was an insult to my account and i have the right to protect my sale thread.

Tbh: I didn't manage to read the full thread but what I think of it:
A seller shouldn't be able to be warned to write something in his own selling thread.
Seeing as bump should also be considered as spam; do we really want to go that way?

So should someone be allowed to be warned by putting there price on it? Like what they think it would go for?

I cleaned the thread the first time (Just about all posts, save the original), as the "price checks" had just become spam and I left a polite message to avoid such. I think Roket made a fair assessment with his warned post, he backed up all his points with his own opinions. I'm not sure they both deserved a straight warning though and I'm unsure just how far TC rights go. I mean you create the post, but can you dictate who posts and who doesn't if you don't like it?

Eh drama.. *goes back to deleting old uu threads*

If you are selling something on forums you can't expect people not to discuss prices.

Clarkey wrote:Although a straight warning could be seen as excessive, if i understand this thread correctly Lithium reported a particular post in his thread as spam, he then proceeded to reply to that spam. Anyone who's anyone knows that replies to spam are going to be considered spam themselves.

The whole point of the reporting of spam posts is to get them cleaned out. You can't go thinking that if you reported a post as spam that it is ok if you reply to it because it will get moved anyway. He knowingly replied to spam as he reported it as spam in the first place.

As for this...
Clarkey wrote:If you are selling something on forums you can't expect people not to discuss prices.

I disagree, I don't think that it is at all unreasonable to request that a selling thread be left exclusively for bidders. However, whether or not such a policy should be enacted is for the head of the market to decide.

i want to evidence that i reported a post as offensice to the thread , ombu can read it , or if smone can quote here that post.

my replie, which i got warned, is intended to protect my sale thread as it was mentioned that my account isnt worth even 10 time less and no reason was given + it was such offensive and straight after a mod cleaned it.

Your post was spam, I saw it.

You reported a spam for spam, you then replied to that post, thus your post was spam. The thread had already been cleaned and a mod said to keep the spam out. The warning is fair.

i reported a post that was offensive to the thread , u can quote it here for evidence, set it in teh spam category as there isnt any other category for that kind,

also my post was about to avoid price discussions as it wasnt being stopped.
