It looks like they mixed lost with bsg,
i like the old way, with witty remarks and lots of explosions.
They are trying to hard to make it overly dramatic.

imo, the first two eps were terrible
The acting was *Very* cheesy, and there are so many plotholes.
I mean seriously, the 304 should've taken care of the lucian alliance like a superconducting knife through air! And it's turning into a stereotypical movie >_<
Seriously though, I would imagine Destiny to look more 'Ancienty' and if I were 'in charge' I would make the non-critical people go in stasis pods (if there were any >_>) to produce less oxygen for the time being <_<

I don't like that Rush is basically SG's version of Baltar. I don't like how they cram packed an entire season's worth of story into a 90 minute premier. I find the idea that a ship powerful enough to travel between galaxies in mere hours without the use of hyperspace can not produce enough energy for a simple 8 symbol dial-out. I don't like how some random punks just show up out of nowhere and start pummeling the planet for no reason. That was a weak excuse to leave the SG:U team stranded on The Destiny with no support. I don't like how what looks like the ancient's most advanced ship ever, has no ZPMs.
Would say much of that, ditto.
Considerign the hype and excitement before hand, it seems very much an anticlimax. The concept is good, could be very good in fact ; just they seem to have stalled somewhere, in casting and production and rushed this through.
Given this is stargate, and they have a record of turning things around, I'll continue watching for a while.
P.S Eli is such a bad Rodney clone it's not even funny

They are an extremely powerful energy source, originally believed to be unlimited energy, but during Atlantis it was shown that, like 5GB HDDs, they gave a very finite capacity.
Hahaha i know what they are i was just wondering where they were i figured it must have been crammed packed with them.

*cough*not on the TV*cough*
On another note...
Hate how movies/shows/games have weaknesses specifically put in place in order to build up suspense.
A example I quite frequently use: "Oh noes! The enemy are closing in fast! Quick! Get us outta here!" "Oh we're sorry, it takes 10 hours to calculate the co-ordinates"
On another note... I'll watch this to the very last episode, just'cause this is SG >_>
