Hey!
lol... I think you will find the USA has a lot of real culture in the cities.
I visited Pittsburgh once when I was quite young...
I still remember the hillside trams...
(I'm sure I could remember other things, with a little help...
but that's what sticks in my head.)

USA is this trip because that's where the friends are going. And while I'm sure USA has some wonderful natural beauty, and we are seeing some of it, we also wish to focus on seeing some of the places that make it the USA, and that means going into and spending time in the cities.
Unfortunately there have been a number of places I'd have liked to go but just don't have the time.
European trip will have to be done at some stage I think but that is, like the USA, a LOT of ground to cover.

tekki, europe is ALOT more dence then the USA when it comes to cultural things to see

I'd love to go back home to NYC,

also i live in california and been all over the U.S. im going to be honest with you the europe is 100x better then here or you can go to south america are see the mayan temples and stuff it is amazing but i dobt any one lives there

It was great meeting you 1horseman and Taxo and I even got to see Jedi Tank for about 20 mins today too so that was great!
Lots more people to see and off to New York tomorrow, then Buffalo and Chicago.

Ya I wish we could have met up on the weekend so we could have spent more time and Nicole wanted to meet you as well, but it was a pleasure even tho short, be safe and lots of fun on the rest of your tour Tekki.

Well, I saw Kaps1 and Chaos Theory today in Chicago and that was brilliant. I also saw Earendil and one of his friends in Buffalo and I think my companions have a new fetish - buffalo wings. That was a great meal and a lot of fun.
It's a bit of a pity about the others in the Chicago area but oh well. Soon back to San Francisco then back to Aussie land and the warmer weather.

Tekki is awesome to hang out with. Was a lot of fun wandering Chicago with her! One of the best days I've had in awhile.
Chaos was also awesome to hang out with, he has some great Chicago facts to share!
Thanks to all for a great first meeting of GW friends. I look forward to seeing you all again. It was great geeking out about GW and Final fantasy series with you guys, as well sharing GW stories.
