Obviously fergie.

Mourinho will eclipse him eventually. Fergies European record should be better with the squads we've had. But domestically there isnt any manager who draws parrallel. No other manager has built and rebuilt teams from scratch while maintaining the attacking philosophy and winning mentality of the team as consistantly over the past 2 decades while maintaining a constant stream of success.

People talk about financial power like united got it over night, we were never blessed with a rich Sheik or a Russian gangster. The majority of uniteds spending power came from success and a good buisness model (which sadly went down the pan when the glazers popped up)

Im under no illusion that Fergie has had a boat load to splash but on the flipside, how many players have we signed on a relative pittance (Ronaldo 12mil anyone?) who went from uncut diamond to integral thanks to fergie.

Wengers commendable for focusing on youth and the purest form of football while refusing to splash 30mil on an andy carol or darren bent. But he's also the most stubborn man in england to the detriment of his team. How long have they cried out for a top class DM? A Sufficient back up to 10 games a season RVP? A Reliable Keeper? His sides been coming of age for about 4 years now. If it doesnt finally blossom this year, and at a stretch the next then its down to him.

And why do people refer to arsenal as having no budget?

They have the highest ticket prices in england, and have the most profit. Arsene has publically stated he has a budget which he refuses to tap into on the scale of other sides. Its commendable but it cant be used to praise his ability like he's managing on a bolton, or fulham budget.

Marouane Chamakh, seven goals for his first season in England, I think that's pretty good.

PS: voted Wenger, Repli Magni sumed it up pretty well why.

Chamakh had a good start to the league. Ask Arsenal fans how they feel about him since he went off the boil. Ask em about Squillachi while your at it :-D

Some fans are never happy anyway, they would only be if they were given 'supersoldiers' never injured, never losing a match and winning every single match by three goals margin.

easy when they have all the money to spend

where is Walter smith that man has done everything but win a europian cup all be it he got the the cup final 08 with no budget what so ever and a 16 man team playing week in week out

now thats what is classed as a great manager

Thing is they didnt have that money to spend.

Ferguson took over a club that was mid table & even relegation material and built it up into a global institution winning year in year out.
Whatever money he had in later years the club generated on itsown from its succes, no russian oligarchs or arab sheiks. Thats why he`ll go down as a legend.

There have been a lot of flukes over the years with one season wonders getting far in cups or doing better in competitions than others predicted. But only SAF built up a club like that.

out of your list i´d pick Mourinho as he´s entertaining and he found a way to stop barca

btw Guardiolas work looks like that http://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr.com/tumblr_lgrtm0RnQZ1qbr76yo1_1280.png?AWSAccessKeyId=0RYTHV9YYQ4W5Q3HQMG2&Expires=1299365597&Signature=TOUSyZZ8GlkIV4zavF8Uqac5cE0%3D

#-o #-o

There are indeed tons of managers who managed to have their team lose not a single match in a whole PL season.  (obviously not...Wenger is the only one for PL, so talk about "disgusting"...)

Wenger has won 11 trophies in 15 years as manager for arsenal

Kenny won 10 trophies in 6 years for liver pool

Wenger is a great manager but to include him over kenny is disgusting.

crack head idea??? The future striker of england and has already scored against the big boys of the premier league.

**Filtered** stupid as idea. we should of just purchased a injury prone striker who never players or a target man who can't score.
