I've never seen Gone with the Wind so a review would be appreciated, the Goonies on the other hand I have seen being an 80s child and I loved it, in fact I might download it tonight as its been far to long since I seen it last :-D

I remember my dad bringing it home so many times, we'd all just watch it and laugh hysterically.

Oh the possible adventures..

I generally have good instincts when it comes to what movies I will waste my time on. Based on the trailers, I can avoid fairly bad movies with relative ease...but sometimes I'm in for a bad movie so bad that it's awesome.

Battle: LA was a movie that I had negative feelings toward before I even saw a trailer that really showed anything. But I was home for Spring Break and this was the movie my father decided I needed to see with him.

The good things about the movie:
>They actually continued the plot throughout the film
>There was a back story
>Things went BOOM

The bad things:
>The plot was not a very good one
>The back story was typical
>The cinematography was ridiculously awful! SteadiCam to Shakey Cam tactics in the blink of an eye; mixed camera POV thanks to director ADD; editing done so terribly that there was no way to SEE anything, even though you were obviously watching the movie
>Not enough things went BOOM
>Terrible plan on the aliens' part - it made no sense

However...
I did enjoy going to see this movie. Probably because it wasn't my money and it meant I could put off homework for a few more hours.

But I would never recommend it.
