The only crime with the death penalty in the UK is Treason, so unless the Queen tries to steal my petrol and gets hurt I recon Im safe. Your right booby traps are illegal but how many thieves will go to the police and say 'look I was trying to steal from this guy and got hurt' ?

I'd figure that depends on how hurt they get. :)

Do I need to post links to 911 calls placed by the burglar versus the home owner? :smt110

Only crime that still carries the death penalty in the UK is *High* Treason and even then it only carries the death penalty while at war (ie a declaration or war has been issued by the UK government, at the cessation of hostilites & during 'peace' time the sentence is an automatic life term {and meaning actual life, not 20-25 years})

Actually, Britain’s Treason & Felony Act of 1848 states that any attempt to eliminate the Monarchy is an act of sedition punishable by death, which if i'm not mistaken is still in force and exempt from the the acts of 98 and 99 which made treason punishable by imprisonment.

It always has been and i suspect-always will be a death sentence to criticise or call for the abolition of the British Monarchy....

I hereby serve notice to the imposters sitting on the thrown of England-AKA-the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha bloodline that they are imposters and traitors to the people of England, and should be hung until DEAD, DEAD, DEAD!!! and no amount of name changing will make them any more English than Arnold Schwarzenegger....

You will be black bagged and processed by MI6 in true V for Vendetta style.
Sir Sawers will take good care of you.

Apparently it is a lot cheaper over the pond in america or so somebody was saying.

Depends on where in America you live.. Gas in my town is at $5 a gallon, over on the east coast I saw it still at a $2 a gallon.

Late 2010; petrol @ 5 Pounds a gallon across the UK.
I.e. 8, 9 dollars a gallon.

And the UK is still cheap compared to Western Europe.

booby traps illegal in texas ? this amuses me, then again up till about 20 years ago it was still legal to kill Mormons on sight in Missouri (though federal law would still prosecute)

id say... get a bike, its warming up and if you live close enough to where you work there ya go

my bik... needs some spring cleaning... but id much rather ride the 60 miles (approx) than pay the gas every day

but thats just me....

hmmm end childhood obesity, outlaw the internal combustion engine

Right now Petrol by me is close to £6 ( about $10 ) per gallon, and in rural areas it costs even more.

Recon I might just buy a diesel car and convert it to run on the used oil from chipshops, it worked on TopGear and apparently makes every street your drive down smell of chips :-D

Get a bike ? I have a bike but even if the internal combustion engine was outlawed I would still keep my car because it's a Mk2 Golf and as such counts as a work of art.

On the UK death penalty, I think technically it still applies to 'mutiny on the high sea's' too but as with Treason it is not a mandatory sentence and if any judge tried to use the option all the loony liberals would get upset.

It seems i am mistaken, the law of 1848 was repealed by the 2 laws of 98 and 99. and a little FYI, MI6 is external and MI5 is internal ;)

Not where it concerns internet criminal activity.
You are an international terrorist and a Threat to the Commonwealth in the eyes of the UK. Pretty much MI6's domain.

Unless.

Indeed. Your crimes have not been committed on UK soil, but in the international sphere of cyberspace. Hence 'international'. Your remarks imply a terrorist inclination and express thoughts of potential illegal terrorist activity. Hence 'terrorist'. An expressed desire to kill the Queen makes you a 'Threat to the Commonwealth'. Given the international nature of the crimes you commit and the fact that your identity cannot be confirmed beyond reasonable doubt at this time, involvement of MI6 is warranted until either your identity can be confirmed or the threat can be confirmed to have been nonsense.

Got it (finally lol ) :-)

Anyways, i hope she and her whole **Filtered** family die the most horrible and slowest death imaginable.

Back on topic, petrol thieves should be stoned to death and shown on national TV :smt021
