Wouldn't blame them after this gay and lame ass Fool's Day joke. It really isn't even remotely funny at all... and I don't even play anymore.

Seriously, if you wanted to pull a prank... lock everyone into some gay flowery forum skin. Redirecting people from the best reading in the forum, just shows lack of creativity and inability to come up with any decent and less intrusive prank to the members who only visit to read those two sections of this forum.

I find it very funny actually and, as Juliette said, this thread adds to the humour of it all.

I believe a part of the thing comes down to the different April Fools traditions.

In some parts of the world it is not really a big thing and in others it is.

Additionally in a fair proportion of the world any joke played after noon is on the player, not the victims and as such the forum 'joke' came in rather late for some of us. Sure it wasn't late by game time or not (well... it was 4-5 hours past midnight ingame time) but for some that was 9-10pm or lunch time already. I appreciate the shift can't be done according to what we set the forum to either but at the same time, this joke is pointed towards only one section of the forum user community.

Being a forum warrior means taking a joke now and then even if you don't like it. Its not offensive and it will not last forever. My advice is just go with the flow and don't wee against the current my son.

and on april fools:

april fools tradition is where you play a joke on someone or tell storys wich arn't true to freack ppl out. just making things silly.

if you would forum prank it then turn all forum posts made into pink for a day or have the word filter change certain words to other words just for fun. that's something that's funny and doesn't get in ppl's way

however this forum is still a place for talking among the comunity with it's 2 biggest parts: the general discussion and the GC for the wars. taking away sections is not funny and just plainly bothers ppl, wich is not in the spirit of april fools
