It's not a bad idea I personally thing. If we also shifted the inactives over there too, then the new players can build up quickly and strongly. Then get shifted to main where the real fun begins.

It would also make the top spots much more coveted and risky to maintain.

Would also bring resource prices back under control. If we also imposed stronger spending limitations on the black market (as was also suggested, something like $100/month) then I think the game would become MUCH more interesting. Especially since the only resources generated are from active accounts. And to maintain that, any account inactive for 3? months is automatically shifted back to the newby server until they return.

He has tried that before with another game:

Realmbattles. Another server costs extra cash.

When people didnt make enough use of paypal, he just closed the game, just like that.

And no warning on forehand.

*reads ToS* Legitimate action.. and from a business perspective, a very valid one.

True, but some of those also play SGW...

It gives you a feeling. It would be nice to know what hes up to. And how the server is doing.

I'm waiting for origins to have that done. I don't think anyone on there spends anything on resources, and its still going.
