Where has it been reported? I've seen nothing appear regarding this..
What individual can classify a thread as dead? The Admin, Moderator, or player? Who answers to who on decisions?
There is nothing moved out of view that isn't necessary. Posts that are dumped are there because of evidence against a warning given, spam, clearing the forum for space (only on Market as far as I know, and it's only cash related topics), or things of this variety.
How do you know they did it to get the final word in..? I highly doubt any Moderator would do that except Jack and that's because Jack's..well, Jack.
Anyone who has issues with the way an individual constructs his/her posts needs serious help. Just saying..

It was reported to admins
Posts were removed, that basically a mod didn't agree with...kinda funny when your posts gets removed, after someone has quoted it....if I could be bothered I could track these down for you....but I can't...but again these were reported at the time.
erm because the thread was locked.
![[115.gif] :smt115](./images/smilies/115.gif)
what benefit does a mod have posting as a user in a locked thread if not to get the last word in?
and I'm pretty sure the zeratul thing I didn't say wasn't a complaint but an annoyance.....and to clarkey's comment no one on th forum feels that way...I posted what I did as a result of a poll on a different forum.

If it was reported to the Admins, it would be handled. I doubt all three Admins would ignore a PM without a response, if ignoring it at all.
This is where I find things funny. You state you have been a Moderator for a crap ton of forums, and yet you don't even know the first rule of moderating. Moderation of the rules on any given forum is always based upon an opinion of the player following a set of guidelines to base his decisions around. How can you not know that if you have Moderated so many forums? Let alone Administrated upon.
Which thread specifically are you talking about? I cannot judge the post you are specifically speaking about without knowledge of it.
"It is annoying as hell" - That's what you said. You are judging the way a player types, or communicates to be annoying. Just ask this question, if users find Zeratul's posts annoying, perhaps you should think how other users might feel about ..other posts.
All I'm saying is do not be so judgmental of other individuals posts because nobody is above reproach.

I'd just like to point out that sometimes a locked thread isn't noticed as a locked thread. By this I mean that if it is locked with no post stating it has been locked a Moderator if not paying full attention or something may just click the "reply" button which would be appropriately changed to "locked", but if they do it subconsciously then they may not even notice it was locked. It IS easily done, just as easy as you could accuse them of abusing their power.

SO what you're saying is we have people incapable of reading? bit of an issue for a forum don't you think
@ noobert The forums I have modded run a LOT smoother then here (not because of me) because the guildlines that are in place are followed and are not subject to individual mods opinions
this has to be one of the most over modded forums I've ever seen

lol you said it, you implied the mods can't read the thread is locked and post anyway.
and really I think you're probably the last person to be telling anyone on this forum to grow up...last time you were given power look how that ended up

Visit TeamLiquid.net, or League Of Legends forum, or perhaps any forum where money changes hands. This is the most lenient forum that upholds rules where money changes hands on larger scales that I've come across to date in 11 years of being on the internet.
Tell me then, how do you make a decision to ban somebody? Edit a post? Things of this nature. More or less, every single Moderation on any forum is based on an opinion of an individual and their interpretation of a rule. There is no other possible way to operate a forum, unless done by a bot.

I didn't say it though did I. It's funny you saying that I said we have Mods that can't read when you clearly can't read what i just said. I said sometimes it can be done subconsciously. When you got to reply to a thread do you stop and read the reply button before you click it? Or do you just click it because it is always there in the same place. Well the locked button is in the exact same place as the reply button, so read what i said again and you'll see i never implied that we have Mods that cannot read.
@RoKeT, yes the old history line again. The only reason they bring up that event that happened almost 2 years ago is because that's all the ammo they have to counter my arguments.

Admins - Yes these positions should be rotated, It's all well and fine to say "they are doing a good job" but if this were truely the case you wouldn't have so many people complaining about them. Yes you could put this down to people "whining" but this is a large number of people from a variety of different alliances within the game.
I dont intend on flaming but I would like to point out 1 obvious fact..usually when something like this is initiated, its because something happened and someone else has to GET THEM BACK for it and its usually the same ol group trying to oust the same ol group wether it be here in this topic, and update topic or any other friggin topic. Ya know, I dont see "so many people" complaining about admin's..I see something happened and somebody got done over and thus a campaign to change the rules has taken place and
"IM JUST PISSED AND WANT MY COOKIES" is about all this amounts to..not to take away from TM's topic..but thats my reply and how I see this, and Im not the only that can see this. By and large the team does a pretty dam good job considering the amount of CRAP they have to walk through from us "users"..there is room for improvement on an individual level for each one, and that will make the team better overall. Short term something like this is fine because "I GET SATISFACTION KNOWING I
GOT SOMEBODY" But in the long term its not because the issues are the issues and they werent born here.

@ Clarkey...but the button has a different word on it...right?
anyway that's way of topic now.
@ JT...Whilst I'd agree there are people on this forum that may have a personal axe to grind against some of the admins, that unfortunately will never change between those people and the respective admin. Despite what people may think I'm pretty indifferent towards them....yes i've had disagreements with some in the past, but I wouldn't make a complaint against any out of spite.
I'm in a fairly unique position that I would speak to 2 of the current admins a lot before they were even forum staff, it has put me in a pretty good position to see changes in attitude

Ive been in the same position as well..but I cant deny this team does well, and I just dont see any need for a major change in a system or team that works.

I just don't understand, Matt's not even here *he's the one most have problems with* and he can't even deffend himself
Zera... is Zera I dont' know to many people that have problems with that loveable goof
and Deni... well yes Deni has power in DDE but she got there because of how good she is, I dont' know how she treated MLH behind sceenes... I know there is history but I also know Deni... on a personal level when I was in DDE I dont' think she liked me much... but notice how i say THINK... because SHE NEVER VOICED IT... at least to me or others that i know because it never got around to me, I did a lot and put her throuhg hell and she still let me stay still talked to me and still tried to help me, all while I put her through hell.. I only say my personal level because I thought for sure when I joined FS she would voice her opinion, or at least tell me off... NAH she just wrote me and said thnka you for bringing up issues... and i'm an "enemy of DDE" infact for the most part I think I built that bed pretty good... she never brings up ingame and never uses it against me... just again my personal...
Rene you say well why do so many people have issues if there isn't them...
BECAUSE THIS FORUM IS FILLED WITH A BUNCH OF TROLLS WHO NEED TO BACK EACHOTHER NO MATTER HOW THEY REALLY FEEL
Trust me you know how many people have treated me like masking for massing Cloud or Rock or whatever, LMAO and they write me in private and talk all nice to me... all i'm saying is people follow the crowd in this forum, and mod bashing is the "cool" thing to do
