Exactly, if it's a true server war most if not all the above and many more will no doubt either join or be dragged into it, the real question is which ones will be on which sides ?????

There is a difference between 'involvement' and 'participation'. One implies passively being drawn into something, whereas participation implies intent and action.
It could be argued that any war between various participants of said war involves all of the server, since all ranks are affected.

Semantics. A far more interesting question is who stands beside whom. Yes, I know.. this is my own curiosity and insecurity talking. Probably.



I am looking for, as BJ said, the catalyst. The spark. The gunshot which in retrospect will be blamed as the cause for all the rumours spreading so far.


@Guild: I tried to have that in the poll, but that is rather complicated.

ETL will be on one side and Robe will be on the other. That'll be the heart of it, just like all the other server wars.

Maybe instead of sides it will be a free-4-all.

Bit like Tennis for the last 10 years. Federer and Nadal rivalry. Everyone bigs up Djokivic for winning 7 tournaments and being unbeaten this year but which 2 made it to the final yet again...

How about a battle royal..everybody against everybody.

I would imagine if there is a server war anytime soon, the spark has already occurred long ago. What will be interesting to see, is whom decides to hit whom first, although that could of already occurred in public or private. In reality, speculation about whom or why will not help much, only after it has already exploded will you be able to look back and see clearly what has occurred.

Why make the poor forums do all the work? Have people post their thoughts on the sides if they wish.

Even then, things remain obscure.
Take the shooting of Franz Ferdinand, widely credited as the 'catalyst' of WWI.. in reality, such an event is a Black Swan, tried and true principle of the unexplained and apparently logical.

Yeah.. I'll admit, the poll itself is a tad flawed.
The idea still stands, and as Ea ^_^ said, posts can be made to rectify and clarify any unclarities and particularities..

I must say I do enjoy the conspiracy theories that are going around.
