Thats not a good reason :P
It makes just as much sense as doing it by rank.. or even if it is by rank then what people try to stay rank 11?

How about nox works based on your ME rank?


Nothing should be based on ME, too many accounts have been traded, and to much ME built through cheap kills and ME hunts. My ME is rank 14 but I didn't earn it, if my own kills were added up Id only be ranked somewhere in the late 20s

I don't think this is a good idea. Varying the checking I think would work better, something like it checks ever 1-4 hours. Otherwise, people will learn the time, drop rank, and regain for 23.5 hours
