and there are far too few Roleplayers left... They brought life into the game, not just simple, soulless skill...

They are Still Around but i do agree Far to Few, In game Rolplay is more exciting. The whole forum Rolplay with the Stargate Rem never has quite interested me :( but the occasional I am Your god bow Before me never gets old!!!!

It actually died around the time the "Asgard are in control" Leader Board ingame was removed.

Most of the regular forum RPing (without framework to speak of) died around the time when the "bow before your gods" statements were essentially replaced with "bow before your gods or be massed ingame"... When ingame gets involved involuntary (for one side) people no longer want to antagonize... If you then combine that element with the so-called "system lord council" that has been "around" a couple of years, you'll see why that type of roleplay is dead. most of those "councilors" barely visit forums if at all, and the only time they post in true Goa'uld RP personas is if someone (not unusual for that to be us) mocks the so-called council in the Goa'uld section.
The fact that at least one of those system lords also dislikes roleplaying puts the question to what she's even doing on that list...

"Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. In the name of the gods, Browsers shall be changed to carry the internet out amongst the peoples and we will spread Firefox to all the unbelievers. The power of the Firefox will be felt far and wide and the wicked users of IE shall be converted to use the true browsers."
