No I wouldn't like that, not for me personally but for the lower ascended guys. lets say someone comes along and ascends for the first time, "yay i've ascended", someone else comes along, "oh no we can't have that"... boom no longer ascended..... door closes we lose someone.

Isn't there protection for 60 days from descension for newly ascended ones?

Ive started fresh. As much as its tiring to ascend and to defend yourself from the big guns farming. Its actually quite fun. Like hitting your first ascention, having little goals again and reaching them is kinda cool.
I wouldnt recommend doing it if you want war in your game, but to those just wanting something new and want to use what you learned to make a decent account. Start fresh.

Agreed, I started playing again and I really enjoy building my account up again, but its a lot of ascensions to go through

yes there is, but it does little to protect ppl that inherit a seldom played ascended acc.. those having to build up there from scratch without that protection.. done it twice now.. not good .. second time easier given not in server..
@ Roket, I tried when I first came back last year was given a unascended small acc, but it bored me.. traded it for the one I have now

I wish the game would do a complete restart, remove any and all ability to have players trading cash with one and other for resources (leaving the in-game Market in, of course), and see how it would play out. Revert massing to the way it was, and not this..utter disappointment.
It would be fun.

You do realize that having an in-game market is what makes it possible to have a cash market outside of it... don't you? As long as you can trade in-game resources, you can pay for them with cash outside of it. The only way to possibly deter this from happening is to have preset values for resource trading, kinda like the MT drop down menu is... for example, you have 1k ATs to sell, the market automatically uses a preset current market value for the cost and not allowing anyone to use input values, thus not allowing someone to input 1 naq or anything below market value. Of course there are ways of bypassing it all... like sending naq to another account and have them hit that account for the naq or pulling out naq and dropping their defense power.
And RoKeT, if you're still looking for challenges, try not using the excuse... "I don't have the resources to fight right now." I'm sure that would be extremely challenging for you to do...

no need to delete... just vac what you have and start a new acc..see which you prefer then sell or delete the one you don't want anymore

I agree, this would be a good idea but then there are other ways to prevent that.
The extreme being; anyone caught selling large amounts of naquadah is banned for X amount of time, or permanently banned for multiple offenses. Nobody wants to lose a large scale account that is used for farming/raiding purposes.
The in-game Market is what makes it 'possible' to do this, however, the one thing it does not allow for is the rate at which the game can explode at. The availability of turns increased the rate of how the game grew, but if you took away the ability to purchase naquadah, forcing those players to farm, do you think accounts would be anywhere a near this size today?

I got my account to where it is nearly a year ago... within 8-9 months by strictly farming. Had I kept playing since September, I dare say that my account could have had at the very least another 3Q naq invested into it within those 9 months... which would have given me at least covert 37 & 38 without buying any naq.

Still, you have patience and skills, which not most of us do. I'm a casual player, what should i do to be able to compete, other than buy resources?
