Another good point on this(in my opinion) is that it will make GnR slightly harder to get

1 year is a good limit.

This will drastically reduce the raider/traders and raider/multi/feeder accounts since raiding will actually require effort instead of just making a inactive war list to hit 5mins daily.
And a 5mil unascended noob is supposed to grow.... how?
You need the dead accounts for growth of everyone, especially small accounts.
There would still be raid targets, they would just require effort to find each day instead of long 'war' lists of inactives. Id bet the the small players would make the effort to find fresh targets, whereas the owners of multi/feeder accounts would not have the time, and for raider/traders it would not be worth making the effort.

Exactly, all alliances farming each other and more scraps over the farming, all good IMO

That's too drastic, also it's unfair for accounts with SS (we never know why player is away for such a while, quite the bad thing to come back to see your account was deleted). Not to mention that naq not farmable there would be farmed in the active, regardless of their size/activity/...
TBH very few people return after a year away, anyone with an account of value can find time in a year to log in once to prevent deletion, and after a year most inactive accounts lose all their value anyway. On farming as I said to JT above, farming actives is all good.

Read the first post guys...
I specified 500,000 army size and smaller, a year of inactivity, unascended.
You can throw in less than 20,000 RAW UP and no Supporter Status if you like..
I mean I can go to page 1,000 and find an account with a 13,000 ID and 3 UP and 80k army.
That's a 6 year old account never been logged into a part from first day it was created, accounts like that should go.
You say this will hurt raiding? I say it will help it, theres probably 1,000 pages of accounts that meet this criteria deleting them will just leave to bigger accounts and will make raiding a lot faster to find targets.
No ones growing off of an 80k army, 3 UP account, and lets face it there are a ton.

You need those inactive accounts for the new / small players to kick start them,
The GnR should just be capped at rank 500 and below, remember its GLORY and REPUTATION

Decrease lag by deleting all of them and just increase resources gained by newbies
Problems solved

No, in fact I think, as I said already many times, the following should be removed and only those who meet all of those requirements (admin already removed them several times by the way):
-Below 500k army size
-UP below 100
-No SS/USS ever bought
-Inactive for more than six months
-Unascended
That's true inactive accounts, who never bothered to play, and are totally unlikely to come back. By removing these, we would get rid of at least 10k accounts.

Accounts that make 80 UU and 1 bill NAQ per month, no one needs those...

There are a lot of accounts that have around 1,800 army size, meaning the have 1 UP and the 1,000 or so units you start off with.
They can all be deleted surely, and any ones that have planets, maybe the planets should be set into space?

But the ones 5 years old unascended with 3 UP and 80k army I think should be deleted or placed on vac mode until they log in again.
So requirements to delete, 1 year inactivity, unascended, less than 500k army?
Doing this could clean upserver and help identify multies because honestly who farms past page 1,000 and the next 1,600 pages after that?
Or could just send them to perg...
I agree. Also, no SS/USS bought.
I agree with you mate, before I start playing this game (about few days ago) I wasn't using my account for a long time.

Yeah but there is about 80k accounts for maybe 2000 players, maybe bring it down to 10x the number of active players? Which will still be a huge amount of accounts to farm from

But even so I bet you had more than an unacended with 3 UP and 80k army I'm suggesting deleting the 30k accounts that were made and never even played..
Doing this would also make it easier to find people's multis..

Here is a suggestion... The accounts on vac more than 6 months are put back into the main server. BUT, and here is the kicker, the planets on "vac'ed" accounts should not be takeable. If/when the owner logs in again, all war relations to it are set to neutral (because he WILL be farmed during the time he is on vac). He will want his account intact when he starts to play it again so when he logs into it again, it should be reset to the state it was in when he set vac. This will increase the farming out there, it will keep the G&R range accessible to the newer players and make raiding/farming better for us all. All unascended accounts left inactive for a year should be deleted. PEROID. If the vac'ed accounts are put back into play, this will give the nooblets something to farm as well as the rest of us and it will be profitable for everyone without deleting accounts of some of the legends that played the game who might one day rejoin us.
The amount of time before an account is 'vac'ed' is negotiable... hell, it can be done the same day because there is no ill affect to the account that is vac'ed for the player because it is reset to original state when he logs in again. This means better farming for everyone.. especially the new players just starting out and they we dont have to worry about pages and pages of worthless accounts on the server OR the G&R range dramatically changing when the crap accounts are deleted.

It would allow us to get the crap accounts deleted from the server without affecting G&R range and still ensure that there is enough naq out there for the noobs that are just joining the game...

and what about the people that vacationed under the pretense it was permanent (incase they wanted to come back), left stats and other things on their accounts?
I hardly think that is fair to them

you didnt read the post completely? When they log back in, the account is put back into the exact state it was in when they set vac.... no planets are taken, all uu and naq are still there.... exactly the same.. only people can mass or farm the "ghost".. when they log back in, the ghost disappears and the original account is reset to its previous state (like vac is now). Planets on "ghosts" are not takeable... UU and naq are farmable but there is no record on the account of this when they log in to come back off vac....
EDIT: the admins could go so far as to reset the stats on the "ghosts" every market reset to ensure that current rankings didnt change too much.... or not... They could even put in the recon report that it is a 'ghost' when you recon it...
