well there arguing about being descended not being massed so i can't see them going for that even tho it's not a bad idea will limit the farms tho which is annoying...

Edit: what about ppt which can defend ascended attacks so you can still be hit but 1/5 hits will be defended? or there power of ppt halfs there ToC unless there ToC is twice there reservers.

I don't really understand what you meant there. In fact, many people who traded accounts for one with mediocre or bad ascended/people who came back to the game with "outdated" ascended stats/active newly ascended people...many of those people also happen to farm to grow. So, if the amount of farms is cut, the strong will remain strong nonetheless...and the not so strong, remain not so strong, even if they bothered to go farming to upgrade their account. Farming in ascended doesn't only benefit the beast accounts, but anyone who is actually farming, whether they are strong, or not. It requires much more farming for a strong account to grow more than for a not so strong/average/mediocre/bad account to grow (unless the account is *really* small, but it's even less likely they would grow if farming is cut).

The idea is simple, RL.

If one way or the other, a player would be able to take a certain time off, without reaping the down end of things which may be brought on by real life, I would be all for it.

A PPT would have been the most simplest of solutions.
And suggestions as you just posted is actually contributing, thank you.

First a bit extra, there are also talks about making account trading a no no.
Secondly there are also talks about putting caps on everything and reduding power levels to a certain amount.
Those that care for the game are willingly wanting to contribute to better the game, even if it would mean downsizing in powerlevels.

Farming has increased recently, an update made it so that untrained planets now also produce DMU.
Resulting in the actiove farmers now farming more.
The less active farmers farm more too ... but in relation, less.

Quite simply NO....if you don't want to be descended...play it!!!!

Any form of PPT in ascended kills ascended. You keep saying this is a "TL" thing...well as the alliance that's seemingly wiping the floor with you guys, I think it's fair to say we know how to play ascended, and might have a rough idea what might work.

Allowing direct attacks only through the PPT will NOT work....for obvious reasons
All the farms being on PPT will significantly reduce the available DMU....good luck for newbs wanting to catch up

Acutally, your alliance as a whole are proably the ones that care the most, as you people are quite overpowered compared to the rest of the server, and you people prefer to keep it that way.

And its generally a TL thing, have you seen the replies ? (apart from apophis)

And how would it kill ascended ? being a pshycic again ?.

PPT isn't a problem in main at all, at least for me. Ascended and main don't have the same kind of actions, activity (for example, raiding isn't anymore available in ascended, thus people can untrain resource planets to lower income, however going to PPT to prevent descension kinda kills the point of descension)...

If we have PPT's up there, then descension should be made much easier to do, The PPT person is trying to out fox the attacker and try to be on when he/she is on line to refill their live force.

ToC power should become more powerfull up there, and forget having min of 4 hits to descend people as PPT is their protecter. Otherwise whats the point of the game if u cant decascend them.

These topics are not made to favor DDE, its generally aimed to bring some balance.
The current state of affairs simply brought a lot more to light.

... several of us have been going out of our way to make the game a better place for new commers, trying to bring in balance, and trying to make it easy for certain players. (not just to make it easy on DDE or hard for TL.

Its not like DDE is totally inactive on the ascended server, hell, we have programs going to get members there stats up.

Quite a bit of effort and time is put in to these things, and as soon as one topic arises that would even come closely to touch the ascended server which might affect TL negatively, we get the same few members from TL throwing in continous and repetive arguments ... till they spammed the threads with the same comments. Instead of you people adding some positive or constructive comments, you go out of your way to oppose it.

Up to a point where it just annoys the hell out of me and I become rude

You have no clue how many people are affraid of you guys and simply dont want to post their opinions because they fear war sets, and threats ... or just plain being massed.

I'm all for ppt on ascended when we can descend in one hit ;P

Yeah because we in TL are the big bad

When it's DDE who are descending newbs...and TL who have clearly stated time and time again, we descend when at war or when we have snipers. We do NOT descend for farming, for a legitimate planet take (unless you meet the predefined "sniper" category, which normally means no stats of note).

oh wait (and I'm sure by now you're quite aware) we lost an account today on the ascended server....quick, forget what i said before...please change the rules, please make us undescendable again....I miss those times

I think Chrbo summed it up nicely...happy for PPT when we can have a 1 shot descension.

I don't want no damned PPTs on Ascended.
Farming is dried out enough as it is without people managing to hide themselves under the cover of PPT..
