Yes Blakes 7 could be good, they never fully utilised the technology they found (I seem to remember the super fast small ships that the space rats used). The show was low budget and shows on occasions for instance the spaceship in the intro ...:) Heres a taster http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIPt1YQdiQA

Fireball XL5 ( had a neat launch slope at the end of a track similar to those used by Harrier Aircraft when taking off from a carrier ). Heres the intro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ifS2nP53Zs&NR=1

Supercar (another kids program) Used to love this not to be confused with V8 supercars.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL2vaSNb ... re=related

Care Bears and any other programs that children can watch and not be negatively influenced !!

The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
Quantum Leap
The Greatest American Hero

I know the Bionic Woman was remade and I enjoyed it, but the backstory was completely different from the original series... plus I'm getting disc 1 for season 2 of the original series tomorrow.

Buck Rogers was always something I have a craving to watch. I still watch it on Netflix or dvd every once in a while.

Quantum Leap has way too much potential to have ended the way it did. The best episodes were the ones in which Sam would leap into a different person within the same storyline or ones like the JFK episode which reflected things in real life that happened. The fact that each episode was a new story kept it interesting.

The Greatest American Hero was a spoof super hero show that had so much unused potential. I mean come on... a human gets a superhero suit and can't read the instructions on how to use it...

Disney also had a time slot on Sunday nights in which they'd show a classic Disney movie on regular TV back in the 70's-80's. I actually miss that.

As for cartoons. I think my favorite has to be Challenge of the Superfriends. Justice League was a great continuation of that show and I wish it would still go on. Then there's the Transformers, Robotech, and Voltron.

Not so much a remake... but I would have killed for a third season of fawlty towers. Whilst I actually would kill them if they remade it. Other then that I might get behind a McGuyver remake as really the only show i'd submit to such a thing.

Yeah, Fawlty Tours is out of bonds. The day the US remake that with Adam Sandler and Cameron Diaz as Basil and Cybil is the day I open a bottle of pills and depart this tortured earth.

Whatever you do, DONT MENTION THE WAR !!!

If Faulty Towers was remade I would hope it would be sequel with the original cast ( They are still all alive ya know.... well most of them, maybe not the Major ). Can just imagine them still running the hotel in old age, still squabbling and being rude to the guests.
