big topgear fan here, been to 2 of the live shows, both were interstate and a bit of a long trip to get to, but oh so worth it. ;p
Pretty sure a yute is short for Utility Vehicle, flatbed ( UK ) or pickup ( US ), no offense, just having a giggle. Now stick another Roo steak on the barbi & toss me a tinny lol You guys must hate what Neighbours did to you, teenagers all over the world think Assies are like that
heh... yeah it is pretty sad what they portray us to be. kind of what I assume little britain or come fly with me do for the british? :P mind you I dont know and cant say much, I may be aussie but my background is English/Welsh/French. lol.

as for the car itself, it's just an average family sedan over here. you might have seen it as the Mitsubishi Diamante, I cant seem to remember where MMAL exported it to, and I'm too tired to actually read up on it.... lol.

(mine is a TE model, as I said with a 3.0L 6G72. if you're familiar with the 3000GT, its the same engine more or less, minus the turbos.)

suffice to say, its just a comfortable car with a decent V6 under the hood. powerful for its size and economical too. drove from here (Adelaide) to Melbourne, roughly 720kms, on essentially one tank of fuel.

KJ & Guilds cars remind me of the bit where one car mounts and has sex with another :smt043

Did Little Britain really get exported ? Damn, bad enough it was on UK TV. Top Gear Ive been on the waiting list for years to see a live show, it's a long long waiting list.

Welsh roots are someone to be proud of mate, English a little less, French, well best to keep that bit to yourself lol

Wish we had big open roads in the UK like you Aussies and Yanks do. Mezz jealous of big roads with no speed camera's and cheap petrol :(

I haven't had much opportunity to get myself a fancy car yet, have to wait until I'm working and what not.

Had a 1994 Toyota Tazz 1.6l GSX Automatic

Currently have a 2004 Toyota Tazz 1.6l GSX Manual

Both with a customised sound system, current one has a freeflow exhaust and cone air filter :-D

K so my beautiful Mk2 Golf is dying, only 2 weeks Tax & MOT left, lots of faults & work needed and at 20 years old it's just not worth the money needed to maintain/repair it :(

So last couple of weeks Ive been looking round for my next car and narrowed it down to these two

Seat Ibiza 2002 - The practical one, low tax, small engine ( 1.2l ) for cheap insurance and petrol costs

Image

Or

Honda CRX VSi 1994 - The fun one :-D

Image

Both cost about £1500 which is the price Im limited to without borrowing ( me so poor lol )

Which would you go for ?

Which should I buy ?
