The silliness of ascended ppt's creating quadrillions of DMU, or the week worth of ppts in main creating trillions of naq - all create imbalance in the game, with some getting good hits and others not.

Take it down till you have it right is my preference.... ;)

Agree :)

this isn't really a big problem i dunno why people are moaning about it so what it was down for a few days.. it's being fixed and about to be put back to normal and yes jason could of auto banked ect but this just makes up for time not being able to farm and the people who lost naq you had plenty of time to bank it.

A lot of sense in this line of thinking; though, of course, you would have equal amounts (if not more) complaining about when the game would be back up if it had been done this way. Still think it would've been better to do it the way you suggest Repli.

And I might be so bold as to suggest we've strayed from the topic at hand. The question is are you thinking of leaving because of the outages, not are you going to. There's a large difference folks. Granted, Field Marshal strayed across the two in his initial post but I think his question is more useful than the accompanying post.

Problem with doing it that way is that it's the players that are finding and reporting the bugs.

And if people leave over this current issue then you don't really want to play anyway, just trying to find an excuse to leave.

I've thought about it many times but just don't have anything else goin on in RL right now, I have a feeling the next time I'm not single I'll take my leave for good... (no fun and the game has ruined 2 relationships of mine  )

How many times are you planning on being lied to a put into a false sense of security?

How much longer are you going to put your faith into someone incompetent?

Personally, this is my last stand, I've just gone 6 years playing. Another PPT for "further" issues, my bet would be on another one occuring in the next week.

When were we lied too ???

Incompetent is NOT accurate, disinterested in this old game when he has newer ones, trying to put the game back online without proper testing ( probably to get the $$$s rolling in again ), and seriously lacking communication skills would seem a more apt description of admin.

Recent game problems dont make me want to leave, they will be no doubt be fixed.

BUT

Lack of communication

Bad updates

Boring gameplay

These things do make me want to leave, fact is I would have left years ago if it wasnt for friends here, the game itself holds little interest.

Leaving? Been there, done that.

The only thing that keeps me stay here is friends and only friends.
The game itself is crap, out of balance and just lame.
The staff for the game are even worse than the game itself.

Outages and such have become more and more common around here, so either live with it or quit.

This whole thing has kind of got me wanting to leave. Not because of the issues or anything I mean all games have these at one point or another and anyone saying otherwise is a big fat liar. It's more that while the servers were down I didn't find myself really checking on the game, wishing I could play, or anything along those lines.

I do love the people I am friends with on this game though so that will probably keep me around for a good long time.
